Personality: Loki is incredibly talkative, sarcastic, and pretty obnoxious. She just has to get that last word in, and she tries very hard to poke fun at whatever anyone else says. Most people find this fun and get along pretty easily with Loki, but she can often offend people on accident. When this happens, Loki will either relent or poke fun even more, depending on whether she thinks she's stronger than the other person or not. She brushes stuff off of her shoulders pretty well, and it's hard to get under her skin.
However, Loki is a very different person inside her own head. Loki is pretty cautious and aware of her own weakness. She is highly aware of how she isn't a very good airbender yet, but she's surely improved in her adventures over the years. She thinks before she acts in battle. The same cannot be said about conversation. Loki often regrets saying things that she didn't mean to.
Abilities: Loki uses her airbending to aid her thieving. She can use it to make herself light as a feather, and make not a sound as she walks toward the object of her affection, or she can simply bend the object on the air toward her. She isn't very good at fighting with her bending, but she's great with a dagger. She'd prefer using stealth to attack, and is abysmal at head on fighting. She is also really good at using acrobatics in conjunction with her airbending.
Her main weakness is her inability to deal out powerful hits. She relies solely on tiring out her opponent and getting a bunch of cuts on them in order to win. She's good at hit and run attacks though, and she's very adept at redirecting strikes and projectiles. So basically, she's good at making cyclical motions with air, but she has a hard time blasting it in straight paths. With the aid of her dagger though, she's able to remedy this flaw, as she can focus air off of the razor's edge. This is only able to papercut really, but it's a nice ranged attack to have. And have you ever gotten a papercut? Jesus Christ, ouch.

Loki has jet black hair that she puts in a ponytail, with two strands going down each side of her face. She has pale blue eyes, and thin lips that are usually up in a smirk. Her face is heart shaped, with a pointed chin and prominent cheekbones, and it usually dances with laughter. A thin nose finishes off the sneaky persona. She wears a black shirt with a hood on it, and tight black leather pants that go to the middle of her shins. Her hands are adorned with many expensive rings, and she wears a simple necklace with a small diamond on the bottom. Her dagger is always in a strap on her right side, ready to pull out whenever. She doesn't wear any shoes. While her skin is pretty pale, there's usually a nice layer of grime on it which give her the appearance of a sort of dirty tan. She also has a piece of a ship's sail that is usually tied around her waist. She uses this fly around, when she needs to.
During fancy occasions, Loki's hair goes up into a messy bun, and she usually wears a white dress. All of her jewelry remains, in face she might wear even more. The plain dress and the gaudy amount of rings usually has a pretty suspicious contrast.
History: Loki grew up poor, but her mother always tried to find joy in the world. It was something Loki had always tried to do herself. Her father and mother were both airbenders, but she had never been told why they'd moved to Ba Sing Se in the first place. She discovered the grand jubilation of thievery at quite a young age, and never went back, spending her days stealing food or clothing from small stores or homes. She did this with her friend, Tochi. He introduced her to the sport when Loki watched him swipe a few apples one day. She was so hungry, so she wandered into the alleyway he'd hidden in. Loki threatened to tell on him, and the kid laughed and gave her half of the apples he'd stolen.
From then on, Loki received all her lessons from Tochi, and they worked as an airbending, earthbending thieving duo. Things were great until they got into their teenage years. Tochi started stealing and then scamming people by selling the stolen goods at secretly high prices. But he couldn't fly away like Loki. She watched when he was murdered, but she was too much of a coward to do anything. Apparently he'd sold a man a "gold sword". The paint chipped off after a few days, and the man killed Tochi with the rusty iron weapon that he'd sold to him. Loki flew away and pretended it had never happened.
She continued robbing the middle class, but something felt wrong. These people were actually being hurt by her robbery, and Loki wasn't exactly heartless. She started stealing from the rich instead, taking solace in the face that she wasn't exactly hurting anyone, and began taking much more expensive and important objects. She'd become her own master now, and was adept at making sure no one knew she'd stolen anything. She learned how to fight with a dagger in order to defend herself from anyone who'd caught her, and she's had to use it quite a few times.
She's been thieving less and less as time goes on, preferring to stick to safe adventuring. But she still has a greedy heart, and a gem makes her eyes glow with delight.
