Minali Otoyome	Clicking her tongue in playful chiding, she muttered, "Brat," playfully before heading over to the icebox, peering inside. "How 'bout..." She pondered aloud, so that Akhet could have some input, "A bacon san'wich with egg an' cheese?" Glancing over at him, she wondered if that would suit him for dinner. Since Minali was usually busy, she enjoyed the convenience of putting her food together on bread, so that she could keep working.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	when she clicked her tongue, he playfully grabbed her hip to counter-tease, laughing as he did so. "sounds good to me." he grinned, once again, fine with anything. and it was hard to go wrong with putting things between bread. Perhaps one of these days he would use that meat he bought to make some sandwiches of his own for them, just for a change of pace or something. He'd worry about that later though. He was right beside her, ready to help this time.

Minali Otoyome	Minali giggled, playfully smacking his hand away from her hip, moving around the kitchen. "A'right, gimme a moment," She intoned, starting to throw things together, the way only she could - completely haphazard and out of order, somehow working out in the end. Her hips swayed as she cooked, making it look as though she was dancing at the same time. "Y'like 'em scrambled, over-easy, 'r how?" She asked Akhet, referring to his eggs.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Disorder was the foundation of the Tallarico Family, so he nodded approvingly at Minali's style. "not bad..." he smirked. "hmm... I'd probably have to say overhard." he shrugged, "probably just from us always cooking things well so they'd always be hot. Any way you like 'em though... I'll eat 'em." He had given his personal preference, after all... which was not by any stretch the only method he liked.

Minali Otoyome	"Over-hard?" She repeats, glancing over to him and then down at the frying pan, "Ah've never made 'em like that, before... Ah'll give it a shot." Eyeing the egg in the pan, she tried to cook it fully, without burning it. It might have been because of her diligence with machines, but she didn't take her eyes off of it, until she felt that it was finished. Removing it from the pan, she placed it atop a slice of bread and bacon, handing it to Akhet with a bright smile, "Doessit look okay?"

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet knew what to watch for, and so he stood beside her watching her cook to ensure she wouldn't burn it, letting her know when it was perfect. "Looks great." he nodded approvingly. He would, of course, wait for her to finish cooking her food before eating his, as he was polite that way, and he liked simple things that showed his love or respect for sweet little Minali. ^.^

Minali Otoyome	Completing her own sandwich, Minali moved to the table to join him, placing her plate down before plopping down onto her chair. "Ah'm starvin', now," She announced, picking up her sandwich with both hands. After taking that first bite, she glances over at Akhet, apparently thinking. "Ah gotta work tomorrow," She tells him, once she's finished with that bite, and before taking another, "Th'shop's open, an' kids'll be comin' back around. So, if y'needed me t'do anythin' for ya, now's th'time t'ask." She smiles, though, and then noms some more sandwich.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	it took him until he had taken his first bite to realize that he too was also hungry. but, he forgot all about that as he began eating away. "Oh?" he raised an eyebrow, "and so what do I do? roam the town and look for work? Idle hands are the devil's workshop..." This was a sort of subtle and roundabout way of him saying he'd be glad to help her out around the shop if he could. he certainly wouldn't stay cooped up all day if not though, and would probably look for work around town to ensure that he remained useful.

Minali Otoyome	"Oh..." Minali's expression fell, "Well, Ah could... Y'could help me out?" She offers, hopeful but not anticipating, "T'work th'shop, y'know? Or, if y'don't wanna do that, Ah could ask Haseo if th'smithery needs help? Or th'general store?" She's grasping at straws, now, but she didn't want Akhet to be unhappy, during his stay. With their food finished, she took both of the plates to the sink, starting to was their dishes from the past two days. Filling the tub with water, she begins to scrub, cleaning them off.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	he smirked. "I'd love to struck around and help if you can stand me." he chuckled, "and if I get bored, aye, I could probably find work easily enough in town. Don't worry about me. I won't get bored." He was too good at finding things to do, which was what he was subtly referencing when he said that idle hands were the devil's workshop. he stood up behind her, gently rubbing her back as she scrubbed the dishes, thinking for a moment about what to say next. a couple of ideas hit him. "So... do you wanna build a couple things for fun tonight or something, or would you rather we spend the rest of the evening playing around upstairs?" There was no real underhanded implications with this statement. Akhet tended to tell minali things at face value, which was normally the way she took them. As for his earlier statement, he was mostly thinking about those bricks they still had downstairs from the old wall. many of them had been salvageable, and so they were still tucked away in a nice little pile, and so he figured he'd pop the question in case she had an idea.

Minali Otoyome	Brightening up, she turns to look over her shoulder at Akhet, "Ah'd love t'build somethin' with ya!" Her hips swayed, betraying her cheerful mood, "Y'got anythin' in mind? Ah got sheets've metal, Ah got lumber... Oh! An' th'bricks!" She remembers, all of a sudden. She'd wait, however, and hear what Akhet had to say. If he wanted to do something in particular.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"hmm..." he thought for a moment, smirking at how excited and eager she sounded. "something cool... or something practical." he tried thinking of something,when suddenly he had an idea. "hmm... maybe we could build the base for that massage chair or something" he suggested, "just as a quick project before bed." since he assumed that it would just be a chair with elaborate workings or something... "and if not... then that's +1 chair." he chuckled.

Minali Otoyome	With a slight giggling squeal, Minali bounced in place, clapping her hands together gleefully at his idea. "Ah love it! Let's do it!" Thankfully, she was finished with the dishes and had already dried her hands, or she would have made a mess. Turning to face him, she pushed at his chest, trying to move him backward, so that she could move past him and make her way to the basement. "Ah'll beat'cha there..~!" She teased, nearly flouncing her way over to the stairs, to go down to her workshop.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"sounds good to me." he grinned, and she she pushed his chest he grabbed her hips again playfully. "I don't think so little missy!" he laughed, and followed her down, not exactly wanting to tear through the house by attempting to push past her, although he did keep up with her easily. upon arrival, he chuckled. "you beat me." he laughed, "although now that we're here... are we going to do it dressed like this?" he shrugged, because he was frankly fine with it, but was not sure if she was or not, mainly because he did not know how messy (or not) her projects were. That was a pretty little dress after all, and he didn't want it getting dirty if their work had that potential to do so. She knew more about it than him though.

Minali Otoyome	Minali glances down at her dress, a pout on her face, "Ah guess Ah shouldn't..." Turning around, she skips past him, heading for the stairs, "Be right back." With that, she bounces her way up, all the way to her room, presumably, to change. When she returns, her clothes are very similar to her outfit from the first day; shorts and a blouse, over which she has the leather chest guard. "All set~!" She twirls on her way over to Akhet, "Issit better?"

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	During that time, Akhet had just dipped into his bag and changed into more everyday-ish clothes, which he would be wearing when she got back, He wasn't too picky as to where he changed, and he was still barefoot. He wore shoes (most of the time) when he travelled, but otherwise, and even around the towns he stayed in, he went barefoot. The earthbenders had the right idea. he smiled at her upon seeing her. "hey... I liked that dress too." he reassured her, "it just didn't really seem like a suitable thing to wear for working like this was all. you do look great though." and so he gave her a hug. "shall we get started then?"

Minali Otoyome	Hugging him back, trying to match the strength of his squeeze, Minali glances out at her workshop. "Now... what t'make it out of," She hums, trying to think, "Ah got a li'l a'everything, so supplies ain't an issue." Still thinking, she begins to walk slowly around the room, taking a closer look at her things, hoping for inspiration. In the meantime, should Akhet take a look, he'd see that her workshop was actually very organized, all things considered. Tools were hung up on racks and supplies were ordered by type.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	It was certainly not that Akhet disliked order--just that he could operate well without it, he admired how carefully organized everything was, and surely it was all very well cared for, even the supplies themselves. "well... which would be the most comfortable?" he asked her. "wood would make it a bit easier to move around, and it's usually pretty nice and sturdy, although maybe some metal sheeting to cover up the machinery once we install it tomorrow or whenever." he suggested. she definitely knew better than he did in this regard, and so he was sort of just winging it.

Minali Otoyome	Considering his input for a moment, Minali nods, her smile growing. "Ah think that'd work," She turns to him, giving him a quick hug before grabbing some wood for the frame, "Let's get t'work, yeah?" Handing him the lumber, she went for her tools. The hammer, screwdriver, nails, nuts and bolts; all of those were suddenly in her hands as Minali approached the workbench. "Have ya done any buildin' like this, before?"

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	He smiled at her, happily returning the hug and adding a pat on her back. Yes, hugging was definitely more fun when she was in breezier clothing, but he liked her work clothes too. they were quirky and stylish, and she pulled the look off nicely. "admittedly, I haven't done a great deal of it, but aye. I have an idea of what we're doing." He knew how to use most of the basic tools of course, so any that she handed him, he would get to work using. already he was surveying the lumber to see which pieces would be best to go where, and already mentally envisioning how big they would want to make this chair. He also did watch her a bit, because he knew that this was totally her forte, and that she would be very devoted to what she did.

Sound good?" Her big brown eyes glanced up, meeting his gaze. She smiled, tilting her head to the side, happy with both his assistance and just having him there with her. Minali is in her element; almost nothing could kill her mood.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet nodded. "sure thing." and grabbing the appropriate tools (in this case a saw), he began measureing and preparing to cut the boards to the appropriate size. He clarified the dimensions with her before he started of course, and with that small but important detail out of the way, he got straight to work. Akhet was very detail-oriented, and so he would not leave room for error. it might make the job last a little longer, but the bonus side of perfectionism was that the final product would be of better quality.

Minali Otoyome	Minali was much the same way, so long as it was something that she knew how to make, rather than a whole new invention. After cutting equal-length legs for the chair, she began to whittle them down into typical shapes, getting ready to attach them to the plank she'd chosen as the seat. Then, once that was finished, she'd do the same shaping to the seat, making it seem more like a chair than 'wood stuck together'. "How y'doin'?" She asked, glancing over at Akhet, curious about how far he had gotten, and how similar they were crafting the chair parts.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet had cut equal length planks to form most of the back, and then cut one a different length from the others to use as the top of the chair, sort of to hold them together. they would be held together at the bottom by the seat and such. "I'm doing well." he placed his saw down briefly to pat his back, before resuming. "yourself?" his question, he felt, was a bit more pointless, as he figured she'd be doing great.

Minali Otoyome	Rather than answering, Minali held out her finished product. It looked almost exactly like the kitchen chairs that were upstairs in said room; the legs were rounded and carved up, and the seat was molded as if ready for a cushion to rest on it, or a body to sit there. "Ah kinda copied," She grins sheepishly, "Th'ones upstairs... Can Ah see yers?" The old 'showed you mine, now show me yours'.
