| This time Zulera watched wordlessly, with an amused smile on her face as the gong banged the ground and gained various amounts of momentum. She followed the gong a little ways, making sure that there was no way it could come smashing down her path.
Snorting playfully, she added, "There's no way I can catch that! it'd roll me right over!" We couldn't all be 12-foot high spirits with arcane powers. Nope... especially not little Zul.

| Spirit Ahura
| Bouncing along after the rolling gong, Ahura gives a wiggle and then pounces on it. Since it's in its human illusion, it would probably look quite silly; as a large furry spirit, it would look humorous, but a lot more acceptable. Gnawing on the edge of it, Ahura glanced up at Zulera, giving a smile.
Now that... would definitely look strange. A girl gnawing on a metal gong would raise questions, but it had been a long time since the spirit had been with humans. It had forgotten several things.

| Zulera can't help but laugh in pure amusement at the spirit's little reactions to the gong and whatnot. she didn't really care how awkward or weird it might have looked. it was an interesting and hilariously amusing sight, and so the avatar was not going to stop it. Besides, chaos was fun.
she clapped slowly in amusement, still genuinely laughing. "Well... you certainly got that runaway gong." she quipped.

| Spirit Ahura
| Spitting the gong out with a clatter, Ahura stood and bounced. "Got it, got it!" It agreed, excitable as all hell, "Now you?" Tilting its head a bit too far to the side, it waited for the response, quite willing to roll the gong again, so that the Avatar could have a turn. The monks would likely have heard the noise, and so would be approaching soon.

| Chuckling, still somewhat amused at the spirit's antics, she shook her head. "I don't think I can run that fast." she confessed, "though I could probably give it another roll for you if you wanted?"
it was only a suggestion, and Zulera added to it. "Let's give it another push, shall we?" she grinned, hoisting it back up, ready to roll it once more. If Zulera were to get in trouble, so be it./ It wouldn't be the first time, but sometimes, a little bit of good "clean" fun didn't hurt.

| Spirit Ahura
| "Yes!" The spirit cheered, jumping up, "Push, push!" It was definitely acting like a large cat or dog, right now, because it had been alone for so long, on the outside looking in. Not to say that it couldn't be dangerous, should something happen, but for now, it was docile and fairly cute. The Avatar, of course, would be the only one able to see its real form, when it had its illusion up.

| Zulera could in fact see the difference between its illusionary form and real form. When Ahura was in its illusionary form, the real one sort of 'faded', making it look like a young girl was encased within the giant beast. her 'spirit-vision' was not perfect, given her own lack of spirituality, although she was definitely spiritual to a viable degree so that she was not so easily confused.
Zulera pushed it of course, following it as well, and finding the spirit's excitement with such childish things to be an amusing and interesting aspect. It left her curious, but at the same time, understanding. After all, she was like that, in a way.

| Spirit Ahura
| The racket was starting to bring the monks out into the courtyard, wondering what was going on. At the sight of the two newcomers - the two outsiders - several of the younger monks muttered indignantly, and even a few went to summon their elders. Once they arrived, it would be obvious who the one woman was; clearly the Avatar. The other, however, would be a mystery, even to them.
Ahura leapt through the air, coming down on the rolling gong, flattening it beneath its weight. The gong gave a mighty clatter before it went still beneath the spirit, and then silence fell across the courtyard. Blinking, the spirit glanced up, spotting the monks, and its tail flickered about. At least, it did in spirit form.

| Upon seeing other people, it made Zulera wonder what they saw, versus what she saw. a curious insight, but not exactly a good way to open a conversation. as the gong flattened with its loud clatter, Zulera glanced from Ahura to the monks and back a few times, before shrugging.
"hey." she waved sheepishly, an idiotic grin on her face. She figured that she'd do the time for doing the crime, and how she reacted to this, was still up in the air.

| Spirit Ahura
| Hopping upright, Ahura straightened, offering a similar wave, having watched Zulera do it. It figured that it was the new traditional meeting for humans in temples. Somehow, with the appearance of the monks, it seems to have calmed considerably; the calm energy of the elder monks was actually seeping through the air, and it visibly affected the minor spirit. With a serene smile, it rocked back on its heels, still standing on top of the gong.
The eldest monk, meanwhile, offered a bow, and a critical stare at the Avatar and the Spirit, though that tidbit was still unknown to him. "Greetings, Avatar," He intoned solemnly, "Welcome to the Northern Air Temple. This is... your friend?" His gaze turned to the young white-haired 'girl' on top of the gong.

| Zulera nodded, ready to take the full blame. "Aye." she nodded, "Ahura, if you will." glancing at the spirit, she also saw the gong, which reminded her. "I can fix that too, by the way." she nodded towards the large metallic object. she hadn't ever done something like this before, so it gave her an excuse to try new things.
she also surveyed their expressions, as if trying to deduce how calm or angry or otherwise, they might have been.

| "Hello!" Ahura waved a bit more cheerfully when it was named, and eyes were drawn to it. Then, when Zulera mentioned fixing the gong, its ears perked, "I can help too!" It meant it, too; it would help fix the gong, it could hold it up, or do something else to assist in the matter.
The monks didn't really seem to know what to think, now, particularly the younger ones. The elders nodded in approval, when the Avatar promised to fix their gong. "Very well, but another time... For now, come inside; you and your friend." With that, they gestured for the two young women to follow.

| Zulera Joanna Tallarico
| Zulera was secretly gratified that the spirit was willing to help. in its larger form, she figured it was probably strong enough to better lift it. Not that Zulera felt she couldn't, but she might have 'cheated' and used a bit of bending if it was just on her own.
Not really one to turn down an invitation, Zulera nodded and consented to follow the monks and nuns inside. She might have been erratic and somewhat chaotic, (some might even say destructive, sometimes), but she was friendly and polite, and those attitudes of hers were not masks. She was really just (generally) polite and friendly to people. It was an old value her dear mother had drilled into her head, and it stuck.
She did not know what to expect though, and so simply followed quietly.

| Spirit Ahura
| Once it was clear that Zulera intended to follow, Ahura began to move as well; its human illusion was walking, and the spirit itself was bouncing along on all fours - again in a rather catlike manner. As they moved through the temple, it did not gaze around in awe, as one might expect, though it did pounce into corners or crawl along bannisters, as if it had done so before. As Ahura roamed, its illusion followed quietly in step with the Avatar.
The monks lead the two into the main chamber, where tea was already being arranged; they were playing host to the Avatar, after all, and that didn't happen every day. Neither did hosting a Spirit, but they could hardly be expected to know. Once the elders had seated, the last two cushions on the floor were obviously for their two guests.

| Zulera Joanna Tallarico
| Zulera didn't mind being treated like an honored guest, but she liked it best when people treated her like they'd treat any other person, instead of getting special treatment for a rank she had inherited by sheer chance at birth. (maybe it wasn't chance? Zulera liked to think it was though. No reasonable avatar spirit would choose her if they really could choose.)
Zulera waited for the elders to seat themselves before sitting down herself, nodding towards Ahura to do the same, however it did or would or... whatever. x) "I must in honesty, thank you for your warm welcome." she told them truthfully. she had expected indignation more than anything for the little stunt they pulled, but perhaps she underestimated the tranquility of the Air Nomads who were not Tekina-Kaze. She'd let Ahura introduce itself, or she would if the elders asked her about it. She only withheld information if no one asked for it.

| Spirit Ahura
| Since Avatar Aang had done so, as well, the monks didn't seem particularly concerned that Zulera had gained an apparently random companion. They did not ask anything, since the name had already been supplied; that was enough for them, at this time, it seemed. Bowing to the Avatar before beginning, the elder monks tended to their tea, occasionally asking questions about where Zulera had just been, and what she was intending to do, now that she was at the Temple.
During all of this, the Spirit spent its time savoring the tea, and the vegan cakes that had been set out, for eating. That was something that Ahura had missed, was eating the human foods.

| Zulera Joanna Tallarico
| Zulera answered their questions in honesty. She had just been wandering, curiously exploring the various regions of the world and in this case, of the Northern Air Temple. She didn't really have any intended goal in mind other than to look around; sate her curiosity about whatever might have came to mind.
She mentioned that she had been in Ba Sing Se prior to coming here, although other than a couple of building projects, there was nothing interesting to report from there this time around.
She sipped the tea calmly, being completely honest and open with her answers as well. Zulera hid very little if she was asked about it. She would not always tell the whole truth (being one to exploit loopholes in questions), but if the question was precise enough, she'd usually be honest.

| Spirit Ahura
| When common niceties were expended, the Elders offered, as politeness would dictate, particularly toward the Avatar, "You and your companion may, of course, stay for as long as you wish, in our ladies' dormitories. It is our desire to see you comfortable until you conclude whatever business brings you h -- " His sentence was cut off, abruptly, as he noticed what Ahura had been doing.
Rather than eating the rest of the cakes, the spirit had begun to stack them up, one on top of the other. Once they were too high for the spirit's illusion to reach... it seemed as though the desserts were floating through the air, to continue stacking on their own.

| "Thank you." she had replied, but paused when she noticed their changed expressions. Zulera had not actually noticed Ahura's stunt either, and so she was a bit surprised too. However, Zulera handled surprises well, for she was something of the opposite of her mother.
"Ahura is..." she tried explaining, "playful... and I'm pretty sure she's also a spirit." she figured she might as well clear that up right now. if Ahura got pissed at Zul for it... well, she'd deal with that if it happened. Zulera enjoyed chaos, but more than that, she enjoyed just doing things that were unexpected like this. she didn't know what else to add, and so just stuck with that.

| Spirit Ahura
| Hearing Zulera's words, proclaiming the spirit for what it was, Ahura froze, its gaze moving to the monks. The elders were all frozen, staring at the pie tower and the 'young woman' both... very quietly. Ahura perked up, almost instantly, figuring that everything was fine, since there was no shouting. At that point, however, the tower of pies had begun to tip...
...And fall, with loud splattering noises, all around the low table, and the Elders, and where Zulera had sat, and all over the walls. Ahura, the playful, prankster spirit, had just made a huge mess.

| Zulera's gaze suddenly averted to the pie tower, watching as it wobbled this way and that. she saw it fall and dove off to the side, averting most of the mess on her part, except her right arm.
as they recovered, Zulera was kind of speechless, although this was from not having or knowing what to say, rather than from shock or embarrassment. She had not summoned this spirit; they had just happened to encounter each other... so she couldn't be blamed. the Avatar might have better communication with spirits, but even she couldn't control them.

| Clapping its hands - both real and illusioned - Ahura bounced about the mess before stopping to look at the monks. Each one was silent as they mopped off their faces... but they did not look happy. With a sudden slink in its step, the spirit crossed the room to stand next to Zulera. "Mad humans?" It asked softly, trying to whisper.
The monks were, indeed, starting to overcome their shock and become angry; their expressions were easy enough to read.

| Zulera nodded at Ahura's question. "...yup. looks like it." her eyes widened. She held up her hands and shook her head, mostly because in truth, it wasn't her fault. Sure, the gong thing might have been, but this was entirely Ahura's fault, and what could Zulera do? tell her to stop? even if she did listen, Zulera would feel like a fool.

| Rather than keeping the illusion up, Ahura allowed it to fade, revealing its true form. Crouching down on its haunches, next to Zulera, it resembled a large, fluffy cat... albeit one with tentacles growing out of its back, and a mask for a face. It was, perhaps, trying to look as non-threatening as possible...
...It did not help. Gasps escaped the Elders (who, to Ahura's credit, were no longer angry). Assistants and other monks, who had entered the room because of the noise, let out screams of terror and ran, either toward the spirit and the Avatar menacingly, or away in fear.

| At this point, Zulera did not know what to do. unlike her mother, who often planned for any and all possible outcomes and how to react, Zulera tended to make things on the fly. As she saw people approach her, she took a completely defensive stance, not really sure how to react. She didn't want to attack, but she wouldn't let herself get beaten down either. She was far too proud for that, and besides. none of this was her fault anyways.
