Z. Katara Len	Si Wong always had a way of calling to those who lusted after adventure or intrigue. For Katara, it was often the leading cause in what drove her back to these unforgiving lands. She did not know what it was about them, but she found siolace in getting lost here. She carried plenty of water, but other than that, she pitted herself against the sands and the winds, not really knowing what she'd find there, or if she even would come out alive. She was at peace with herself at this point, having mastered control of her vicious bending prowess, and was no longer in pain every time she used it, nor did she blow herself up any longer. however, that did not bring back her eyesight back, and so the young teen was still blind, even while walking under the moonlight. Cane in hand, she set out into the desert once again, travelling mostly by night. The cooler temperatures were easier on her naturally warm body. She didn't need to see where she was going. That was half the fun.

Okashi Nokoraiu	The sky was black and the moon was full, glowing its usual magnificent white light. Beneath that moon was a land covered by sand for as far as the eye could see. The terrain was incredibly expansive, going on for miles with slopes of all different heights. Walking in this desert was a young man, his scarf tightly wrapped around him to combat the cold temperatures of the night. He held his hand slightly out in front of him; lighting the way in front of him with the fire that encased it. Raiu was adventuring through Si Wong with no real goal in mind, although water would be nice. Truth be told he got here on accident. Don't ask.

Z. Katara Len	It was said that when one sense was lost, the others became heightened. Katara could testify that this was true, given that she had not always been blind. She still had a ways to go on that heat sense mastery, but ever since her adventures with Jurishe, she had gotten much better both at it and at controlling her own flames. As she walked, she suddenly froze. She could sense it out in the distance--flames. either someone had set the sand on fire, or it was another traveller with a lantern or with firebending abilities. Both of the latter two seemed plausible given that the former was usually attached to a sand nomad vessel. Further sensory analysis indicated that it was not moving very fast, which began leaning Katara towards the latter--a wanderer and a traveller. those sand vessels moved rather fast, as Katara remembered, from recalling the strength of the breeze in her hair. She had once run into one of the mightier sandbenders, a Nomad Chief named Kuja. She knew that most of them were not dangerous, although they usually minded their own business just as she did. She didn't have any issues with them. As she began migrating towards the source of the flames, she called out. "who's there?" her voice was low; maybe a slight bit raspy, but not from thirst. it was not very loud again. Frankly, Katara enjoyed the silence.

Okashi Nokoraiu	Raiu heard a voice call out to him from a short distance away. It was faint but still noticeable. He remained quiet, if the person already knew he was there why speak up? He slowly approached the voice as his hand lazily swayed from left to right to reveal a greater area in front of him. It wasn't long before he found the source of the voice, a girl. She was close enough to see that her skin was dark, dark enough to be from one of the Water Tribes and that she was a brunette. However, she was too far away and there wasn't enough light to make out anything distinct about her person, including how long her hair was.

Z. Katara Len	At not hearing an answer, Katara fell quiet, pointing her staff out as a weapon. "identify yourself!" she commanded. the only people who didn't identify themselves were people who did not deserve to be trusted, and it was because of people like that that her own life was shattered. The moonlight seemed to reflect off of Katara's glazed white eyes, giving them something of a glow. Perhaps they really did reflect light--for they certainly didn't absorb any. She gripped her staff firmly, preparing for some sort of combat. She was not fond of aggression, and would play more to defend herself rather than attack; ideally she'd get out of the combat situation altogether. But, she couldn't just leave well enough alone when there was a threat nearby.
