Zulera Joanna Tallarico

Posters advertizing the expedition were going up all over the Earth Kingdom, and even parts of the Water Tribes and Fire Nation. Someone was going to start a search for the Wan Shi Tong spirit library that, nearly a century ago had disappeared beneath the sands. Some say it had gone back into the spirit world, while others said that with the right geographic coordinates and enough ability to move sand, it could be unearthed.

Either way, Avatar Zulera was going to find it. And she wanted to see if anyone else was interested in finding it with her. She was looking for something very specific, but it was also enticing enough that, should someone else discover it, she would know, because that was not easily kept a secret.

But no one else needed to know that. Instead, there was offers of fame and fortune and glory for those who could rediscover this ancient spirit library. They might find knowledge of their own. Of course, everyone knew of Wan-Shi-Tong as well, and he could pose a threat... but at the same time, perhaps if they were elusive enough... maybe they could outwit him. At least, Zulera could try. She wasn't afraid of spirits.

Instead, she was just at a local tavern, waiting for people to show up with her flyers. It was pretty easy to spot Zulera, after all.
Surprisingly, few people actually knew she was the avatar until they saw her in action. Most Avatars historically had had no qualms against reminding people who they were. Zulera? she preferred being seen first as a woman, and then as the avatar. She liked letting people find that out all on their own.

Kei

Kei knew what Wan-Shi-Tong's Library was through legends and stories. An ancient place with many powerful secrets, no man has ventured within its halls for many years. Kei couldn't even begin to imagine all the lost knowledge and wealth that lied in the old ruins. The idea of recovering all of this almost made Kei drool.

Sure there would be probably be dangers and such, but if his instinct was right, the payout of this adventure would be enough to cover his apartment rent for years.

With the poster in hand, Kei traveled to the  tavern everyone was to meet at. Upon walking in, he recognized Zulera and gave a big grin. No doubt she was involved in the quest, it was really unlikely she was just coincidentally here. With her on the quest, Kei was confident the challenges they encounter would be easily passed.

Kei approached Zulera with the poster in hand and casually said, "Yo, I'm here for the journey to the library."

Cyrad as always was keeping a ear to the ground looking for odd jobs to either fill his coffers or help him in his quest to build a mighty city. His latest adventure was to find and explore the lost Wan-Shi-Tong library, and though Cyrad was mostly sure that the quest was destined to failure he couldn't pass up the opertuninty to search the greatest assortment of knowledge the world had ever seen. He was sure it would be invalueable to his own personal quest.

He had found a flier when he was exiting a bar and since it was not far and almost sounded legitimate Cyrad decided to check it out. He ended up at another tavern a few days later and when he entered he saw Kei already there. He ran into Kei quite frequently and the two of them got along swimmingly. Along with Kei there was a woman in the middle range of her life and, if her garb was any estimate, a waterbender. Cyrad approached and ruffled through his bag before pulling out the flier. He supposed the woman was the one running the show, though Cyrad had been surprised by Kei before.

"Hey Kei." Cyrad said first before continuing. "Hello miss, my names Cyrad Wato and I'm here about the Library quest. It's a pleasure to meet you." Cyrad said as he extended a hand. He wasn't one really in the know despite being rather well traveled and he wouldn't recognize either Zulera's appearance or name though one would be hard to guess how Cyrad would react to meeting the avatar.

Yu Jin

The young airbender girl had been milling about innocently in front of the tavern, waiting for just the right moment. She had found her way here on her own, after finding a flyer talking about finding Wan-Shi-Tong's Library... somewhere that Avatar Aang had actually been! The twelve year old was not going to let this chance slip through her fingers, no matter what any stupid adults had to say about it.

Finally, when it seemed that most people were occupied with other things, Yu Jin slipped inside after a man with a big stone arm. She shadowed him across the bar while looking for the people who had made the advertisement... until he brought her right to them!

"I'm here for that too!" She announced, holding the flyer up with both hands, looking between both men and the woman who were probably all at least twice her age, if not older. As each pair of eyes would turn to her, Yu Jin made sure to stand up straight, taking advantage of her full height - which still wasn't much. If need be, she would lie and tell them that she was older than she really was, because she was going to that Spirit Library!

[OOC: Yea, this is more of a Thread Bump post than anything]

Kei

"I'm here for that too!" Kei heard a young voice behind him call. Turning around, Kei saw the origin of the voice belonged to a young girl who appeared in her pre-teens. Kei wasn't going to lie to himself, she definitely appeared under qualified for the the quest to the library. He was a bit worried for her safety.

Oh well, Kei thought to himself, Maybe I'll just go mess with her until she leaves.

Standing up, Kei approached the young girl.
In a serious tone to hide his humor, Kei asked, "Did you get the permission slip signed by your parents saying that its okay for you to go on this?"

(Reviving. Hopefully Zu-Zu and Kei are willing to continue)

Abasi Khuchtei

"Leave the kid alone, will you?" chimed Abasi as he stepped through the tavern door. It was barely wide enough to accommodate his muscular frame, but he managed to squeeze through. The near-deafening shrill of his pet Shirshu was the last thing they heard before the door slammed shut behind him. He took a moment to knock the piles of sand that had accumulated in his robes before he spoke again.

"I'm sure she knows what she's getting herself into." he glanced around the bar to get a good look at everyone who'd showed up. He expected there to be a greater turnout. Wan-Shi Tong's Library was teeming with priceless information; information that he wanted...needed to imbibe.

"If she dies along the way, at least we'll have extra food." he erupted into a brief chortle, but silenced himself when he noticed that no one else was laughing at his "joke."
