Mei Jen	"Thank you." She takes the tea and sips it as she watches Rui prepare her food, smiling as she describes what it will be. She nods agreement as Rui describes the windsurfing as unusual and interesting. It was pretty exciting, and Mei looked forward to doing it again. Her smile widens as the girl uses bending to heat the fish, and she listens happily as Rui talks about her day and her business. Her parents being entrepeneurs, she respected creative, ambitious people. "Well met, Rui! I'm Mei." She motions towards Koeten. "This is Air Councilman Koeten Tarea. He is overseeing the rebuilding of the Air Temple here, did you know it wasn't abandoned anymore?" She rests her cup and the sauce bowl on the edge of Rui's cart, and tastes her food. "This, this is delicious! What did you do differently? I'm no cook, so I can't tell, but it's great." She eats more, clearly enjoying it.

Rou Lui	"Really?" Rou asked surprised, "I wonder if they still maintained their culture after near destruction. That would be something to see." She watches Mei taste her dish, and smiles slightly at the complement. "Well it was something my father taught me back at his restaurant. I let the fish soak in the dressing after grilling it. It added something to it and it also helps that I'm a firebender when cooking. I don't think my dishes would be half as good if I couldn't have complete control over the flame." Rou explained. "Did you two need a break from the rebuilding?" Rou asked.

Koeten Tarea	He looks up from his noodles for a second to nod."We have managed to retain almost all of our traditions and culture miss. I simply left the temple in the care of the other councilmen in charge for now. As head councilman it would be irresponsible of me to not know the country we are rebuilding in. So lovely Mei here has agreed to show me your glorious nation." He un corks his sake and blows more cold air into it using bending to chill it and then sips him smiling happily as he goes back to listening

Rou Lui	"That's interesting. Are you going to adapt some of our technology into the Air Temples?" Rou asked. She knew that many nations had adapted to the new technology after the Great War, and some had refused. Though since then many scientific minds had developed and made improvements to the original machines. She listened to the Air Councilman Koten's response before asking her next question. "So are you two going to tour the other Nations after?" Rou asked politely.

Mei Jen	"I was planning on a rather long trip exploring all the places I heard about growing up, Rou. My first stop was the Air Temple. I hadn't really decided my next stop yet, you know, just going where my feet take me..." She tries to adopt a cavalier pose as she says this, tossing back a hand, tilting up her chin... and almost drops her bowl. Blushing she looks up and quickly settles her face into a smile, resuming her normal semi-formal posture. "I've never been out on my own before, but it's pretty exciting! Imagine, being asked to escort an important Airbender on a tour of our fine nation?!" She drops her voice and whispers excitedly to Rou. She finishes her salad, and hands Rou the empty bowl, and washes down her meal with the cool tea. In a normal speaking voice, "That really is the best noodle salad I've had in years, the fish was incredi ble."

Koeten Tarea	The Airbending master taps his chin and thinks not really knowing where his guide was going to take him. "I honestly don't know. So far from what I've seen of the fire nation and your customs I rather enjoy. He cant help it as he says customs to take a little glance down at Mei's bikini for a second then continue "I would like to go see the Northern and Southern water tribes however. I hear their cultures are amazingly kind and interesting and as the self appointed ambassador of the Western Air temple, I should visit more nations I think. " When he says "Self appointed ambassador" he says it jokingly

Rou Lui	"Well it sounds like you guys have an interesting adventure ahead." Rou said as she took the bowl from Mei and thanked her for the complement. "I hear there is a strong conflict between the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes currently. Though I could see interest in the Water Tribe cuisine, or that of the Air Temples. My father said you make very good fruit pies."

Koeten Tarea	Koeten laughs at the fruit pie comment and nods"I heard that our fruit pies were considerably good compared to others around the world. I don;t have a clue how to bake a pie so to be honest, I wouldn't know one from another." He stands up and sets his bowl on the cart next to the vendor."Thank you for the delicious meal miss. He slides some currency to pay for the meal with a generous tip set off to the side for her."You know you should join us in our travels when we embark to the water tribes. I'm sure your food would sell as a delicacy there, and you could learn so much more about your craft I think." He slips his hat back on his head after picking it up off the table and throwing a wink to talented blooming chef

Rou Lui	Rou took the money pondering the offer. I've always wanted to try Water Tribe food. Sea prunes sound interesting and they have such a wide variety of sea food. "When are you guys thinking of leaving?" Rou asked. "I'll probably be working the cart for a few more days, but I can leave any day."

Mei Jen	"Traveling with a cook! This will be great. Should we visit the Northern or the Southern Water Tribe first?" Mei smiles brightly to Rou and Koeten, rocking on her heels a bit. The Southern Water Tribe was smaller, but maybe that would mean more wildlife to look at, although she had heard the Northern Water Tribe was really interesting. She finally shrugs, and laughs. "Either or, doesn't matter to me, but we can wait a couple days to leave. There's lots more here to see, Koeten."
