A Joker in a Joke Shop [CLOSED]

Pan

Pan had a bad habit of appearing seemingly out of nowhere in a cloud of smoke. It was, of course, just a simple trick that he had gotten rather good at, but the children in his shop didn't need to know that. Airbending was a handy thing in his line of business, as it could be used to form the dusty purple cloud from the bag of powder that he carried with him, quickly move him into it, and then dissipate the cloud to reveal the blond man, among other things. A flurry of awed gasps and rapid clapping always followed the act, as Pan himself was quite careful about not overdoing a single thing too many times.

Bowing exaggeratedly, Pan grinned widely at the group of customers, "Thank you all for choosing to come here to the Yaofeng Prank Emporium. If anyone needs help finding anything or has any sort of questions regarding the shop or its merchandise, you need only ask." He finished off with a charming wink, which set a small pack of preteen girls into a fit of squealing. Happy that he had been prosperous enough in his sales to be able to hire a young woman to man the cashier, Pan was free to wander the store, both helping and having a generally good time with the patrons.

A dark-skinned young girl caught his eye as he turned. He didn't recognize her, so it was most likely that it was her first time here, since Pan prides himself in remembering most of the faces that walk in his door. He walked up to her - or rather he took a few sort of hop-steps towards her. "I'm Pan. Welcome to my shop," he moved to shake her hand but the man's wrist twisted at the last moment and suddenly there was a bright yellow rose in his hand, which was being offered to her to take.

Pan leaned forward onto his air glider slightly as he hummed in thought at Sagittaria's query. A slender finger came up to his face in a rather exaggerated mockery of deep thought. It wasn't much longer than a few seconds later that Pan twitched his hand into a quick snap and threw a toothy grin at Sagittaria. "You know, there are quite a few things popular right now - especially with the younger crowd, since the school year started just recently. Let's see... There's the Dragon's Breath Potion, which reacts with stomach acid in a way that makes the drinker look like they're breathing out smoke. Oh, and also the Corpse Rose, which smells just as sweet as any other rose until it starts to die, which is when it starts releasing an odor akin to rotting flesh. Kids really enjoyed giving those to their teachers until the schools caught on and banned the flowers."

Pan shrugged noncommittally after his spiel and added, "Of course, we also carry all of the classics - rubber weapons, whoopee cushions, fake limbs, dung-flavored candies, et cetera, et cetera..." He made a dismissive sweeping motion with his hand and then looked Sagittaria in the eye, which required his head to be tilted the slightest bit upwards. His own pair of blue eyes were twinkling as he asked, "So... Did you come here for anything in particular, Sagittaria?"
