| Meili Mitali Zalika
| It had been long enough since Meili last threw a party, and frankly, a day was long enough for her to want to throw another party, more or less. Well anyways, she wasn't satisfied with the little parties that she had been throwing thus far. Sure the sexy parties at Lake Laogai were pretty damn fun, especially that one time she got to piss off the Order of the Bakery, or punch a statue of Sir Frederickson the Ninth in the face. Some aftereffects were that a few women were missing their clothes and thinking that they were named Joo Dee, but it was a small cost when all was said and done.
Either way, Meili sanctioned off a piece of the city, and then commissioned a young coal miner by the name of Isikiro to demolish this shit. How? Well... the girl was a lavabender, and so she simply melted the floor around the roped-off location, flattening it just like that. Everything salvageable had already been long since removed anyways, so the local environmentalists didn't need to start a protest or anything. It was just melting earthen structures and recycling them to use anew.
Anyways, thankfully Meili didn't need to commission any more lavabenders after that. instead, she began erecting a gigantic party hall/dancefloor complex that was nearly as big as the palace anyways. Frankly, there was no reason to host her international parties in her home where asshats could rob and plunder the place, and so instead, what better place to throw them than at a public venue? Besides... this one had been dedicated and blessed by the great Guitar God himself, and so no harm would come upon them as long as the place had the blessing of Tarek and Meili.
But of course, when Meili partied, the world partied with her, so as invitations were sent out to everyone important, and fliers were posted as far away as the Water Tribes for this week long celebration, Meili received funds from her buddy Tarek and her buddy Zurok, since both of them knew that plenty of people from the Water Tribes and Fire Nation would be here too.
Long story short, she set up what was probably one of the grandest festivities of all time. Her "come one, come all" had been a raging success, and so there was food, drinks, and other wild activities for anyone to get into. Heck, there was even a few places where people could spar or fight against each other of that was what they wanted to do. The complex was fenced off by small walls (to keep the party from leaking out into the city and/or people's private neighborhoods), but these were adorned with lights and decorations too, to give the place a more jovial atmosphere. Where would you go from here? The sky's the limit.
| Mood: Mischievous Condition: ready to PARTY HARD | | [OOC--essentially, feel free to go wild. Here's how it will work. People can post in this thread, and then I will proceed to make them a separate thread for their actions (kind of like Kei/The Dungeon Master's style in the "invasion of the Fire Nation" thread). ALSO note that liquid time is in effect, so you can have your character(s) be in more than one thread here at a time as well. party guests mingle. they don't just stay in groups, so feel free to meet one person in one thread, and another person in another. PM me (Zulera) for any questions or what have you. see this thread for more details] | |

| Sanaki Calameda Zelgius
| There was a fundamental rule of the universe somewhere in the Guitar God's book of time that stated that Zelgius Sanaki could make any event or outing classier just by gracing it with her presence. However, there was a similar law that stated that anything and everything could be improved by adding the Raidens to the mix. And so, since Sanaki was not about to head to the biggest bash the world had ever seen all by her lonesome, her family tagged along. Well, if anything, Tarek was leading them, since he and Meili had a connection of sorts, both of them rumored to be demigods or something like that.
Whatever the case, soon the whole family was at the party: Tarek, Sanaki, Katsuo, Kaede, Kilon, Keiko, & Kyla. Tagging along was sweet little Kozue and her family, and Sanaki had heard that Isikiro was going to come too. She'd keep her eyes peeled, except she was blind so it would do no good. For now though... it was time to party...

| Kei
|
Kei didn't really like large crowds, they made him claustrophobic. Kei also didn't like being around government officials with high power, they made him uncomfortable. Kei also didn't like extremely 'friendly' people, guy or girls. Even though nothing was really said about such a topic, Kei knew parties like these always had such people.
Kei did NOT hate parties however, parties (Especially Royal Ones) tended to be a source of great yet free food, which was an important enough factor to counter 3 of his dislikes at such an event. Without much of a second thought, Kei decided to go to such a Meili's grand party. He was once a wanted criminal, but Kei doubted anyone would recognize him; it's been years since he presumably died.
Anyways, Kei's plan was simple, get in, eat three days worth of food, and leave without attracting much attention. He was real confident it would work. It was unlikely that he would stand out amongst the thousands who were attending this party.
Making his way to the party was no real difficulty, already being in the Earth Nation as well as being in possession of the Medium Class Zeppelin, 'Thunder Child', the journey was quick. The first real problem arose when he tried to land in Ba Sing Se Airfield. Apparently Thunder Child was an unregistered airship and Kei was lacking the proper license and paperwork to be flying it around. A quick chop to the back of the necks and the dumping of the bodies of two unconscious guards who were on the verge of impounding him behind a building solved the problem. With that, Kei left the airfield and parked Thunder Child on the outskirts of the city to avoid arousing the attention of anymore guards.
Kei made his way to the party on foot and honestly amazed at how much money was spent on such a party. I can't even begin to imagine what percentage of taxes went to this party... Kei thought to himself as he passed the gates into the party amongst a large crowd. Kei smiled to himself, it seemed his quest for food was going smoothly at the moment.
First part of his plan was complete: Infiltration.
Next step: Search and Destroy!

| Tarek Raiden
|
Tarek was dressed very formally for Meili’s big party and looked very handsome and regal as he walked through the entrance of the Grand Hall. He was definitely not dressed like this by choice, but it was hard to argue with his wife and daughters, who insisted that his normal get-up was not ideal for the Fire Lord to wear to such a fancy party. Such were the joys of living in house of girls. Tarek and his two sons were always outnumbered between Sanaki, Kaede, Keiko, Kyla, Kozue, Korra and sometimes even Isikiro. Not that Tarek minded, as he loved his family (biological and adopted) very much.
Tarek was not really the type for parties, and with the current state of the world, he wasn’t sure it was the best time for one. But after his recovery from an injury during the Xuri attack, his family insisted he come along to unwind. Of course he never minded seeing his old friend Meili again, perhaps they would even visit a nearby bakery.
Tarek looked around at the many people having a great time around him. Meili sure could throw a party. He knew his hands would be full tonight, between keeping Sanaki away from the wine, keeping both eyes on Katsuo, and keeping Keiko’s clothes on. Somehow a war with the Xuri and Tarek’s troubles with Elegys and Galaad seemed like child’s play compared to keeping the Raidens under tabs. He was really looking forward however, to a game of Pai Sho with one of his oldest friends.

| Kyorin

Kyorin sighed big time and stared at the sky. Of course, right after the Fire Nation was attacked and this trouble with Elegys was starting, the Earth Queen had to start a party. It only made his job harder, as he was supposed to protect her. He was her only bodyguard, as she didn't exactly need one. Kyorin thought of himself as Tarek's bodyguard as well, as his palace had just been invaded and this place would be the perfect time to assassinate him. Meili could defeat anybody that he knew of, but that didn't stop somebody from just walking right past her and slicing her throat or injecting her with a poison. Same with Tarek, with an afterthought. He was constantly alert, watching the rooftops and the crowd and the walls, his eyes never stopped moving.
Him and Meili had a strange relationship with each other. He had been her bodyguard for some time, but it felt more like babysitting a child who had higher ranking than you. She would juggle vases, punch statues, destroy art, the list goes on. It always ended with "Stop!" and then a "I do what I want!". Which was the truth. But it got even worse with partying. She was the biggest party animal ever. What was even worse, was that she didn't let Kyorin take part of the festives and food. He had to stand next the new throne where she would stand in front of for making announcements and the like.
He stood there, making mental notes of every face he saw, every person who even looked at the Queen. This is how he made Elite. One of the very few who got this title. But alas, it was boring at times. He saw Tarek walk in with his adorable family, and he also noticed a red scarfed man walk in. Kei, Kyorin believed his name was. It had been quite a while since he had seen him last.
The party was beginning well enough. Just a few more hours of standing and watching and it would be over. Then he remembered. The Pai Sho game with Tarek. That was definitely going to be a big event not many would like to miss. He would have to be extra careful, as most peoples attention would be to the board, it would be the perfect time for someone to strike on Tarek or Meili. Or both. He kept his eyes moving, never staying focused on one point.

| Kada Zaltana
| Kada's favorite place to do his spying might have been in the Fire Nation, but the Earth Kingdom was also a nice place to do that, or to simply get caught up in one of his wild shenanigans all over again. But, to hear that there was a free-for-all style party going on in Ba Sing Se, Kada couldn't turn down that juicy opportunity.
He could see the strategic value in it. all the money spent would bolster her own economy as she gave back to the people--both the guests and the people whose industries helped make this all possible. But, he was not an economist, nor did he care to become one. He was going to party and enjoy himself.
He noticed the Earth Queen mingling with the other guests, and in some cases, completely unattended. She moved around a lot, since she was a very sociable woman, if the rumors were true. Kada was simply on the lookout for any unusual-looking individuals, or anyone interesting. He was not about to kill someone or save someone (but he wouldn't just stand by if something happened), but he was going to party for now. Besides... he had heard that this complex had been blessed by a--no, THE--Guitar God. That meant nothing bad would happen tonight... or for the (at least) week that this festival went on for.

| Izanagi Yutaka
|
There was no way in hell that Izanagi Yutaka, a wealthy ‘entrepreneur,’ was going to miss a party thrown by Mieli…especially when there was opportunity for making money. Izanagi was many things, and among them he was an inventor…well more like he gets ideas and pays someone to build them. Today was no different, he believed he had a little money maker, and was going to show it off to the world!
The party was already in full swing when the skylight suddenly crashed as Izanagi literally came flying in with a strange water spewing device on his back. He landed gracefully on one of the party hall’s tables, completely soaking at least four of Mieli’s waiters. He smirked as he pulled the ridiculous goggles he was wearing off his head and grabbed a drink from one of the soaking wet waitresses. “Do not be alarmed my friends!” he called out raising his drink, “you may all be wondering how this man before you managed to defy the laws of gravity? No I am not a god, or a sorcerer! I have merely unlocked the secret of flight!” He announced dramatically before downing his drink. He immediately picked up another and raised it Meili’s direction. “A toast to the beautiful and gracious Earth Queen! Who we have to thank for this exceptional party” he declared, resulting in resounding cheers from many of the guests. He then stepped down ready to begin taking orders for his new device, as it impressed many people, especially the group of young men and woman who wore tight-fitting jeans, old-school sneakers, thick rimmed glasses and a curious obsession with apples.

| Zevran Arianna Takeo
| No party would be complete without the famous Broma Brothers stirring up something though. Zevran and Oghren were not technically brothers, but they were partners-in-crime who worked so well off of each other that they spent plenty of time together pursuing wenches and mead and other fun things.
Zevran did keep an eye out for a pair of cute little curvy women: a sweet little waterbender and a blind, scarred firebender... though he wouldn't cry a river if they were nowhere to be found. instead, he turned to his buddy Oghren as the scene unfolded before them. "Oghren, my smelly friend..." though he was less smelly this time since they were dressed a bit more formally for the outing, "this is going to be a night to remember..."

| Z. Katara Len
| Now THIS was a PARTY! Katara had perhaps unsurprisingly heard of Queen Meili's extravaganza, which went to show just how far word reached, for she had been in the Fire Nation at the time. Then again, she sensed that there were plenty more Fire Nationers around this party than just her, so it wasn't like her red gown would be too out of place.
There was a very modern-looking touch to Katara's dress this time around, with the dark reds and golds making the elbow-length gloves on her hand fit the outfit a bit more. Underneath her nearly-trailing skirts, her feet were bare. This was more of a comfortable outfit rather than a sexy one, but it was still formal.
To top off an already awesome event, she even met up with Zevran at least once or twice. The two spoke of wonderful times and of massages, and Katara saw another date with this fabulous man in her future. Perhaps she'd get a test of his dates in Ba Sing Se. time would tell. For now though, the girl was going to continue putting on weight to let her curves better develop. Katara wasn't malnourished anymore, but she was still a bit skinny, and so putting on a little healthy body fat would be good for her. Her rapid metabolism did also help in this regard.
