I was thinking of some like...crumbling ruins. Maybe an abandoned portion of one of the air temples. Some structures are precariously hanging overhead, could lead to some environmental strategy.

sounds like a plan to me. I think the most likely place to find temple ruins would either be around the Western or Eastern Air Temples if we wanted a location for this location [xD], so it'll work out.
