Full Name: Rikio Yamamoto aka Rikio the Mountain God
Gender: Male
Age: 76
Element: Earth
Birthplace: the Rikio Mountain
Position: Personal bodyguard to the Earth Queen
Personality: His first and foremost personality trait is forwardness. He is incredibly forward to the point of rudeness, whether it be confronting an enemy or engaging in conversation. That's not to say he has no skill in tactics; quite the contrary, in fact. He is a tactical genius, able to pull wins out of the most unlikely of situations.
His second most personality trait is experience. He has lived quite the fruitful life, full of pain, happiness, anger, excitement, and the whole spectrum of emotions. He prefers diplomacy over aggression, and looks down on everybody who does use aggression for problem solving. He is incredibly wise and imperturbable, capable of forming quick responses to almost any situation, and being taken by surprised only 1 time in a thousand.
His third most personality trait is weariness. Not of life, but of the world is general. Though he is vibrant and strong, the weariness of years shows on his face, and in his eyes. His eyes reflect his age: deep, pained, and haunted by experiences no man should see, one look into them shows his age and what he has lived through. He lives life at a leisurely pace, having no time for anything that takes more than five seconds to operate.
Abilities: Rikio the Mountain God is a living legend, revered among the younger generation and the older alike. It is rumored that he was gifted with the powers of the Earth-Mother herself, giving him powers far beyond that of ordinary benders. It is said that with a single swing of his hammers, he can quell entire wars, and when he slams his foot, entire mountain ranges are made. They say he was born when the moon rose the first, and will only die when it rises no more. They whisper that he is in fact a demon, and the face of frail old age is only a ruse so he can get more souls to consume (of course, never to his face.)
However, none of these things are true. He is, in fact, just a powerful, really fit old man, weary from decades of fighting. His true strength lies in his earthbending, enhanced by his legendary hammer, [color=green"The Mountain-Father's Shaft"[/color], enabling for massive attacks far behind what ordinary Earthbenders are capable of: massive boulders launched at his foes, slabs of rock to defend himself, and even shattering the very earth for massive damage on his foes, at the cost of fatigue for himself. Needless to say, he is a terror on the battlefield.
Outside of his earthbending capabilities, he is quite skilled. He is a terror with his hammer, capable of crushing even heavily armored opponents with a single swing due to the sheer weight and the design. When it comes to fists, he is capable in it as well, though it's not his favorite way of fighting. He is also quite hardy, for an old man, capable of taking hits like that of a much younger man.
However, that does not mean he is without flaws. Far from it, in fact. His fatal flaw is, in fact, his age. Due to his, though his actual physical strength is untouched, his speed and his fatigue are not. He is massively slow, even to the point of being outrun by some slugs. His bones are brittle as, creating a double problem. As for fatigue, he is not capable of extended conflict any more, and is only even capable of wielding his warhammer for a minute or two before it tires him out severely, as his endurance isn't great. At all. Actually, a drunk cripple could probably outlast him in a fight. Also, coupled with this, dexterous fighters, if they can get up close, are the bane of his existence, as he is not fast enough to stop their progress nor hit them when they get in close.
Also, due to his old age, he requires a walking staff of some sort; it also not possible for him - or any horse - to carry around a 200 pound war hammer without cause. As such, he instead carries around an ancient gnarled wooden staff. But this seemingly normal weapon has some surprises in store. For one, it is not just wood. It was custom made by a group of plant benders over the course of thirty years when he first felt the onset of age. It is oak over steel, creating a staff that is harder than most things and capable of standing up to a severe pounding. Also, mostly unnoticed due to the the underwhelming normalcy of it, there is a steel spike embedded on the end of the staff, hard enough to punch through several layers of steel, given enough force. This staff is heavy enough to be used for earth bending, but in much more subtle ways than a War Hammer, moving and manipulating the earth than rather than destroying and raising it.
Animal Companion: He has an animal companion, a Giant Badger Mole, to be exact. It's name is Shikio, and it is his faithful companion in times of need; however, he cannot always be around, with Rikio living in the city; a giant Badger Mole is kind of a frightening sight. As a result, Shikio has set up a den underneath his house. A huge den, deep underground, but a den nonetheless. Shikio is an intelligent animal. As such, they were able to set up a signal. Whenever Shikio is needed, Rikio has but to send a series of tremors downwards, speaking in Morse Code for the time, place, and manner of emergency. In return, Rikio provides Shikio with food, shelter, love and comfort.
He found him after his home was destroyed; Shikio saved Rikio from death; Shikio was banished from his home after challenging the leader of his pride for leadership; he failed, one of his eyes being injured permanently. Once Rikio was healed, they became friends, providing love, aid, and a family that neither one had any longer.
Appearance:
Reference Pic 1Reference Pic 1Angry Rikio (Minus the fire)Happy RikioBattle-ready RikioRikio the Mountain God lives up to his name: he is 9", over 500 pounds, with a chest wider than a doorway, and looks immensely powerfully despite his old age. He has muscles that would put a bodybuilder to shame, and a chest that you could break cinderblocks with. However, he is old; as such, his skin is wrinkled, though not grotesquely so. He has a long white beard - long enough to tuck into his belt - and he walks hunched, as if it pains him. He grasps his staff with one hand, the hand depending on the situation. As he walks, the staff punches a hole in the ground as he walks.
Rikio has a lot of scars, the most prominent being an X-shaped scar above his right eye. However, he has much more, his skin peppered with them: however, the only place their
aren't scars are on his back: as he always says, "Scars on the chest are testimony to a warrior's skill: scars on the back are testimony to his failure." And this is no place truer than with Rikio.
His normal attire consists of a light green shirt and matching pants with sandals; quite the common outfit in the earth kingdom, right? Well, he combined it with an overlarge, white haori - or overcoat, of sorts - that goes down the back of his knees. The sleeves are large as well, even covering his hands when he wears. It is a ... unique looking coat. Bright white, with a green diamond pattern on the sleeves and several black striped going down the back.

In battle, his attire changes ever so slightly. When a serious engagement is initiated, his haori goes flying, as does his shirt, the shirt being ripped apart from the seams. This exposes his bare chest, and the many scars that are there. This also serves to expose his true height and girth, as his overlarge haori normally disguises that.
History: Rikio Yamamoto was born, and named after, the Rikio Mountain in the Earth Kingdom. He was born in a small town, to ordinary parents, to an ordinary birth. However, as he grew up, it was obvious he wasn't normal. At first, it was merely his intelligence and cunning that set him apart: however, it was soon realized that he wasn't merely smart, he was physically superior as well. By the time he was 5, he was 4 feet tall. His growth was immense, as was his intelligence; both continued to grow. However, he also had charisma, and social skills; he was not an outcast, and was indeed very, very popular. However, everything changed when the fire nation (fourth wall ftw). A legion of fire benders swept through their small, self supportive community. Rikio and the others fought valiantly, but they were no match for trained soldiers. As the last of his companions fell, the General of the group cleaved his forehead open, leaving him for dead.
