Tranquility.[Yuhi, OPEN]

Mai spent her day at the temple, like she spent every day of her life, at the temple. She was tempted to leave less and less as her responsibilities sunk in. She needed to be here, for her people, mostly because all of them thought thievery was cool, and it caused trouble with travellers. She hated dealing with it, she stole this, they stole that, he did this, etc. It got to her, but taking some time to relax always helped.

She flew down the side of the mountain, to a small hot spring she'd been to hundreds of times and one she intended to go to hundreds more times. May followed her, and landed on her shoulder as she went inside a building that was built specifically to hide the springs. The Airbenders, of course, split the room down the middle, one half for each sex. Mai was undressed in a flash, sinking beneath the water, and simply floating there with an air bubble around her head. Her bag, and clothes were set aside in a small, hidden cubby to disuade robbery. None aside from her knew about it, likely because she had been the one to make it.

She evetually resurfaced, meditating in her bliss. If one were looking at such things, they'd find that Mai had an excellent figure, and, despite her age, could pass as a girl half her age. Her bottom and breasts retained youthful perkiness, and she had the defined figure of a practiced gymnast.

Yuhi Tategami, otherwise known as Yuhi of the Sunset, was taking the week off. Sometimes, it got difficult doing what she did, putting up with the constant ogling, groping, and lawsuits that followed the broken hands. So, where did she go? Her mother's ancestral home, the Southern Air Temple. With her, she brought her mother's ashes. She knew she would like to be scattered on the winds at this, her most favorite place.

But first, it was time for a bath. Traveling tends to get a girl dirty, and nobody likes a dirty girl. So, she went into the nearest bathhouse, evident of so by the fumes caused by the warm waters. Silently, she slipped into the empty bathhouse, divesting of her clothes behind a marble pillar, quickly hiding her mother's ashes underneath them. Then, she dived into the water, arcing gracefully.

For several minutes, she was alone ... then she heard the tell-tale sign of someone entering, then a soft splash as they entered the bathwater. Yuhi was quickly running out of air. She had no choice ... so she surfaced, blue eyes searching indignantly for the person who dared to defile the same waters she was in.

Mai was mostly uncaring, mostly unaware, but the small part of her that was, felt eyes upon her. From the feel of it, likely a child. She sighed lightly, reaching back, and grabbing her lemur, "Someone else is in here, huh?", she asked her lifelong friend and pet. May was old, but like her master, she retained a youthfulness, and blinked twice, then made a soft purr like sound.

Mai nodded slowly, dunking May without warning, but the lemur was out like a shot, rolling around on the ground. "Why must you insist on being filthy?" She shook her head slowly, scanning the water until a pair of blue eyes caught her attention. She didn't particularly mind sharing, it's just that so few people came down here so early in the day that she sincerely believed she'd be alone.

"Hi there.", she said. "A young Airbender, I presume. What brings you down here, shouldn't you be studying, or meditating, or doing something other than being here?", she asked, realizing how impatient she sounded. "I'm Mai, what's your name?"

Yuhi's hopes vanished as dust in the wind. "Tch. Another doting old fool who thinks to baby me." With a disgusted expression on her face, Yuhi scoffed "It is no concern of yours what I do with my spare time, nor what my name." She glanced down at the water. "And now my bath is ruined. I will be taking my leave." She silently stepped out of the water, revealing a slim - but toned - figure, like a gymnast.

Walking - or more accurately, gliding - to where she left her clothes, she slipped on the white cotton shirt, then the black pants; over it wen the leather coat. Underneath this, she buckled a beautiful belt, as if the very stars in the sky had been threaded by a master cloth smith. Attached to these belts were two sheaths; one was bright gold, with a golden hilt on it; the other was pitch black, with an onyx hilt. The onyx blade was shorter, only a dagger by normal standards.

Mai smirked, typical, she always got stuck with the bitchiest of benders. She grabbed the edge of the spring, rocky as it was, and flipped herself out, retrieving her clothes, adorning the typical Airbending master attire, although she also placed a council member cloak over it. She grabbed her staff, and made a soft ticking sound to May, which the lemur responded to by climbing onto Mai's shoulder.

"YOUR bath is ruined. I've been coming here since before you were born little one, I doubt I am ruining YOUR bath as much as you've ruined mine. I though the water felt a little sour. I must have been detecting your aura.", she said, "All black and shrivled like a rotten raisin.", she said. "You must not be from this temple, I'd certainly have gotten complaints about you by now."

Yuhi raised an eyebrow at the old airbender. She had a nice body, speaking objectively, for somebody of age. "..." Slowly, she drew a circle on the pommel of the black short sword on her hip. "You are correct. I would never be forced into solitude in a place like this." She scoffed.

Then, she brought the small black box out. "I am only here because my mother wished to be scattered in her homeland." She opened it slightly, revealing a silver-gray ash, glistening ever so slightly. "I am here to fulfill that wish." She snapped it shut, her eyes focused on the elder airbender.

Mai smiled lightly, "Of course you wouldn't, WHAT-EVER would you do for fun in a boring place like this?", she asked. "Am I right? I know I am, and that's exactly how I felt at your age.", she said.

"Your mother? Oh, I see..." She nodded slowly, "Well, I know a place that might make for a nice dispersement spot, if you don't mind being escorted around by an old woman like me.", though she didn't even look her age, she put women half her age to shame. "It would be a pleasure to help you, so long as you try your best not to cause trouble."

Yuhi struggled, with difficulty, to not roll her eyes. In a voice dripping with sarcasm, she said "No, I don't want your help. I prefer to just wander around aimlessly." She crossed her arms and looked at the older airbender as if she thought she was an idiot. "Let's just go. This place depresses me." She gathered up her mothers ashes and walked out.
