Minali Otoyome	Minali hadn't seen, since she had been averted her eyes, but his tone caused her to look back, a moment later. Her gaze moved across his face, taking in the little details of his features, as well as his expression. Once his fingers nestled into her curls, she felt her own hands rise, threading into his hair. Without a word, she began to play with his hair, with both hands; fiddling with the small braids, or just feeling the softness brushing past her fingers. Refusing to analyze her feelings - and perhaps not even considering Akhet's feelings - she continued her actions... unless he asked her to stop.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	he chuckled, and ruffled her hair briefly, not minding her playing with his hair. he had promised to let her do so anyways. Briefly mentally noting the location of his feet, he continued to play with and bounce those pretty curls, chuckling through his grin as he did so, wondering how this would make her react. After all, the massage was done, and he saw nothing wrong with a little playtime, especially since Minali "wasn't even in her underwear".

Minali Otoyome	Her blush was back in an instant, when he chuckled down at her. Averting her eyes, she gave a gentle tug on his braid, though she didn't remove her hands, just yet. Minali was enjoying herself, and didn't want to stop messing with his hair. Parting her lips, she considered saying something, but decided against it. Anything that she could say would either come out wrong, or be superfluous, anyway. Those simple motions had already said all that she wanted to say. While she was known to ramble, she hated words for no reason.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet was more than fine continuing, as he also liked Minali's state of (un)dress. However, he more liked her curly hair and her quirky emotions and expressions. "Cutie." he chuckled, although in with the chuckle there was a tone of something different and perhaps something more. Either way, he followed-up by ruffling her hair with a chuckle, fine with her playing with his braid. his hair was thick enough that it was unlikely to hurt him at all. if she pulled the beads out though, he might have to do something or ask her not to similar to how she asked him not to steal her machines... but for him it was only so they wouldn't get lost. truly meaningful tribal beads were not simply readily available. he grinned at her, playing with her hair some more, watching her reactions closely but playfully.

Minali Otoyome	While she did let her fingers brush against the beads, Minali would never pull them out without asking; she, too, saw that the same way as someone taking one of her machines without asking. His voice had her squirming once again, but this time she was unable to ignore it. "Why d'ya say those things, t'me..?" Her question was soft and hesitant, because she wasn't sure how else to put it. Very slowly, her fingers withdrew from his hair; one fell back to her bed, but the other brushed against his cheek, then rested on his shoulder. Personal space? What's that?

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	He didn't mind her touching them at all, but would have stopped her if she pulled at them directly (as opposed to just his braids). since she didn't, there was no problem, and so Akhet continued to playfully bounce her curls. "Why do I say what things to you?" he replied to her question, "the compliments? I just say those because they're true. That's honestly how I think of you." He really hoped that this was not the wrong thing to say, because really, "cute" and "adorable" were two of his best adjectives for her, hence his frequent usage of them. He did not mind her getting touchy with him--after all, he had just finished touching basically her whole body.

Minali Otoyome	Her fingers continued their journey down to his jaw, carefully feeling at the masculine lines of his face. "Y'do?" She asked, though, at this point, she was starting to believe it, when he said it. Laying there on the bed, she slowly drew her legs up, letting her feet rest flat on the bed; that way, she felt a little less open. Though Minali was starting to feel safer with Akhet, she still wasn't prepared to be completely vulnerable.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"I do indeed." he chuckled softly, but grinning sincerely. He was not one to try and butter someone up (okay, maybe if it was an important or powerful general or politician), and so his words towards Minali were sincere. he softly started scratching her head again, calming down a bit. he did not mind her pulling her legs up, as she had been lying rather exposed prior to that. he did not mind said exposure, but perhaps she did. Either way, he just continued to bounce those beautioful curls and grin at her.

Minali Otoyome	With a small nod, Minali offered a small smile, still willing her blush away. "Awright..." Was all she said, for a moment, before adding, "Ah know we met kinda funny, but - d'ya think we're friends, now?" It was an innocent question, and perhaps not the one that really needed to be asked, but it was the only one that she was really thinking, at this exact moment.

"I'd definitely say so." he nodded, "but that's just me. is that what you feel towards me, or is it something else?" Unlike his teasey questions, he was sounding serious here, knowing that this was tricky ground to tread on. he would take it slow and carefully, as she was special to him, and he really liked her. he just did not know yet how much.

Minali Otoyome	"Ah'm glad," She smiles brightly, at first, but then blinks, at his question, "What d'ya mean?" Minali really does seem clueless as to what he means. Though she's laying back against the bed, she tilts her head to the side, her large brown eyes peering up at him. She'd never had much experience with friends, let alone with anything more than that. It just wasn't something she was thinking about, just yet... If Akhet wanted to go there, he'd have to introduce the idea, even if slowly, for her to get it.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"well..." he scratched his head, as if trying to think about how to word this and more importantly where to go with it. "sometimes people become a bit more than friends... and get more intimate and other such fanciful things. Not to the point where they want to get married right away or anything, but sort of like... think of it like a higher level of intimate trust, if that makes any sense." he was sort of blushing now, fleeing kind of like an idiot. "obviously not to say anything's wrong with just friends... just that, in case that didn't seem accurate enough or something..." perhaps it was time for HIM to stop digging himself deeper.

Minali Otoyome	Reaching up, she gave his braid a soft tug, hopefully pulling his attention back to her. Then, offering a small, hopefully encouraging smile, she asks, "What d'ya think we are?" It wasn't condescending, but she needed to know what she was supposed to consider. Minali was still very comfortable, and so saw no reason to move or readjust, but she did wonder if he were getting tired of sitting and leaning over her, like that. It was a passing thought. She was still listening for the answer.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	after "friend" but before "happily married" was a huge spectrum of difficult-to-describe relationships. "Id' say a bit more than friends... perhaps friends who are somewhat intimate." he explained, and then decided to elaborate a bit more, because that could come off wrong. "intimate meaning that we are close friends... friends who can confide in each other... who we trust with things that we might not trust with anyone else... you know?" he paused. "after all... other than my siblings and a few cousins and close friends, you're the only one I've really sang to, epsecially that lullaby." he smiled sweetly at her, still gently playing with her curls, occasionally running a few fingers across her cheek and jaw.

There was no need to define what they had, but she was determined to, regardless. "Y'mean... like best friends?" She offers, with a smile. Akhet was her only friend, after all; he was already her best friend!

"after all... it takes a special friend to give or receive that sort of massage... or to heal... or to bond over a brick wall." he chuckled at the memories they had already made during their short time together. "you know what I mean?" he was not just tooting his own horn here either. She had already made him have quite the wonderful time the last couple of days. he smiled sincerely at her to see how she would react, willing to elaborate if she got the wrong idea.

Ah ain't had one fer a long time, that understood m'machines an' how Ah care about 'em. Thank ya, Ahket." She really meant it, too. Moving to sit up, she threw her arms around him in a hug; an impressive show of touchy emotional-ness from Minali, thus far. Pulling back a little, she tugged on his braid once again, looking for his reaction.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"and I'm glad you're my best friend." he replied with a smile, "so... thank you as well. and you are welcome." he stroked her chin gently for a moment before putting an arm around her to give her a friendly hug as she sat up. he chuckled as she pulled his braid, and gently tugged on a few of her curls, grinning at her in a playful manner. if that was how she wanted to play, he was more than happy to oblige. He saw nothing wrong with their respective states of (un?)dress either.

Minali Otoyome	"Ah'm yer best friend?" Minali blinked, "Ah figured ya'd have a whole ton've friends ya've known better an' like better 'en me..." She ends on a slightly sad, quiet tone. She had been trying not to think about it, but now that she had, it was pretty depressing for her, after opening up so much today. Softly, she tugged on his braid once again - it's going to be a regular thing, now, so Akhet might want to tell her, now, if it's not cool.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet paused, for a moment. he decided not to count family, because family were a special type of friend that was not the same as an intimate friend. "of course you are!" he laughed, being honest about it. "I didn't have many friends outside of my siblings and mother..." he grinned widely but sincerely at her. "so aye. you're definitely my best friend. I mean... my sister had to bribe me to get the massage that I just gave you. only my best friend would get it for free." he winked. he did not mind her tugging his braid. it just made him chuckle, and one of his hands, which had been around her a moment ago, rubbed softly down her back for a moment before giving her butt a soft squeeze, just to see how she would react. if she looked at his face, he would have a MASSIVE grin on it.

Minali Otoyome	She had been smiling happily up at him, but once her butt gets its first squeeze, Minali gives a squeal, jumping in his hold. Eyes wide, she looks over her shoulder, at his hand, and then back at his face, completely shocked. Seeing his grin, she gave an incredulous look before smacking at his shoulder. "Y'brat!" She calls him, wiggling to try and scoot back away from his hug. The fact that she only hit him once, though...

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet couldn't help but laugh pretty vividly. It was nto a mocking laugh, but an amused, playful laugh. Her reaction had been so dramatic and hilarious! "Sorry," he confessed through his chuckling as he recovered, "couldn't resist. these braids of mine are sensitive! you pulled the switch and forced my hand to do that!" he was lying so directly that it would be hard for Minali to believe it. of course, he was making his lie glaringly obvious so that she would realize he was joking. "You're still cute, by the way." he smiled at her invitingly.

Minali Otoyome	Retreating a foot or so, to the other end of the bed, Minali crosses her arms and pouts at him, her bottom lip quivering softly. It didn't last for long, before she's actually laughing, falling onto her back, holding her stomach, giggling with her knees drawn up, just like before. In this position, she looks like she's going into a full-blown laughing fit. "Y - yer such a brat..!' She tells him, as best she can while she's having a giggle-fit, hardly able to breath, tears springing forth into her eyes. Apparently, she thought that his joke was pretty funny.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	he laughed at her pout, and laughed even harder with her once she started. She was cute AND funny. "you are SO damn adorable!" he laughed, crawling towards her, "no wonder you're my best friend!" he reminded her as he slowly caught his breath. Even if she didn't get out of her giggle fit, he had calmed down enough to watch her laughing and shaking in her position. She was really cute, and perhaps bonus points that she almost had no clothes on. However, he briefly imagined her laughing like that fully decked out in her usual attire: leather guard, goggles, boots, and all... ...yep. it'd still be super cute and super funny. he flicked her curls again and then retreated, hoping to lure her back towards him.

Minali Otoyome	Though she had already been calming down, once Akhet flicked her curls and ran, Minali grinned, rolling over. "Aw no y'don't!" She growled playfully, lunging toward him, trying to tackle him back into the bed, so that she could remain on top of him. Really, she didn't know where this was coming from... She had never been like this with anyone before, ever. She had to chalk it up to having a friend like Akhet, who brought this side of her out into the open.
