Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Deciding to try his luck, he let her tackle him. He did not underestimate her strength, as she knew that even though she was curvy, that did not necessarily mean she was fat. She was a solidly-built woman who had nice curves. Or so said Akhet. he laughed as she pinned her, and particularly because with her hands holding him down, it left her backside unprotected. Thus... leaving his hands at his sides for a moment, he lifted them just enough to grab her by the hips and give her a playful squeeze. "Gotcha." he grinned doofily right as he squeezed her. She had the most amusing reactions, and so Akeht was mentally preparing himself already to laugh.

Minali Otoyome	Her reaction was mostly the same as before: with a squeal, she tried to wiggle away, and reach back to grab his hands, at the same time. "Stoppit!" She squeaked, trying to pin his hands back up by his shoulders, to keep him immobile. He may be stronger than she was, but she might not have figured that out, yet... Also, in this position, she was trying very hard not to touch him too much, or let him do that same.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Luckily (or perhaps unluckily?) for her, Akhet was still clothed in a shirt and pants. he gave her butt another nice squeeze, before letting her grab his ahnds and pi n them over his head. He would not break it to her yet that he let her do that, but instead let her render him seemingly helpless. "well..." he chuckled, "you got me... so now what are you going to do with me now that I can't move?" his legs were only sort of stuck, but he wouldn't tell her that. He jsut wanted to see what she planned on doing with him pinned like that. After all... the moment she stopped, he would probably pounce. xD

Minali Otoyome	Stopping in her tracks, Minali blinks through her embarrassed haze. She had no idea what to do with him, except to make it so that he couldn't grope her again and make her blush any deeper. Considering quickly, her eyes moved across his features, taking them in once again. "What d'ya want me t'do?" She asks, on a whim, perhaps to buy herself some time. At this moment, her thoughts ranged between hitting him with her pillow or... kissing him. That last part made her quite confused.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet's mind suddenly raced, although it was not nervous racing. It was simply him weighing his options in a limited amount of time so he could answer her question fairly quickly instead of producing awkward silence or something. "hmm..." he replied, "how about a kiss?" He figured that she was probably going to slap him anyways or something, and so he figured he'd might as well take an audaciously bold shot in the dark. if there was such thing as probability, he was playing it to the extreme right now with odds against him... or so he felt.

Minali Otoyome	Minali blinked once again, looking surprised. Well, if he'd suggested it too, her impulse must be right? She hadn't exactly had a friend... ever; she didn't really know what all they got up to doing. Leaning down, she watched Akhet's expression closely, to make sure she was doing the right thing. Unsure of exactly how to do it, Minali simply brushed her lips against his own, moving them once before pulling back slightly, blushing. "Um... how wassat?" She asked in a mere whisper.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	His eyes widened for a moment, but there was a smile on his lips even visible during the short little kiss. he was surprised that his odds had been successful. perhaps the gods were smiling down on him today. As brief as it was, it made Akhet smile. it was a nice start. "Thank you." he smiled sincerely, deciding that that would be a better indicator than trying to describe how good or not it was. He might have wrapped his arms around her, but for now he wanted her to think that he was actuaklly stuck, and so would wait for her to make another move of some sort, be it another kiss or otherwise.

Minali Otoyome	Blushing fiercely, Minali nodded once before moving her legs, crawling off of him. Then, releasing his arms, she sat back, brushing her hands against her curls to push them back, and over her cheeks, very mindful of the color they were currently displaying. "Y - yer welcome," She murmured, looking away at her dresser; it was suddenly very interesting. She was completely unaware of what effect the kiss had on Akhet, and, at the moment, it was the farthest thing from her mind. No; she was busy trying to sort out her own emotions, thank you very much.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	He was admittedly surprised that she allowed him to get up, and once she sat up, he sat up next to him, crossing his legs and almost in a little ball. he softly rubbed her back, this time doing so unsuggestively so she wouldn't think that he was trying to grope her butt again (although that was still on his agenda). deciding to give her a moment to think about it, he remained quiet as well, contemplating what had just happened and how he had liked it. Provided that she did not resist, he would continue to gently rub her back, not making any particular type of move; just gently giving his cute best friend a gentle, loving backrub.

Glancing over at him, and then away, she wasn't sure of what to make of his expression, either. "Did Ah... do somethin' wrong?" She asked him, finally, unsure of how else to put it.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	he continued to softly rub her back, saving any jokes he had for a less serious time. Right now he needed to be honest and take a sincere, friendly approach. "not by a longshot." he smiled at her, looking her in the eye for at least a moment. "you just looked really contemplative, so I decided to give you a little moment of silence while you sorted out your thoughts or something. It's all good." and it was. he was fine with letting her try to sort her thoughts or emotions out while he got to rub her soft, warm back some more.

Minali Otoyome	Looking at him, and then away, Minali gave a very small nod. There was something that she wasn't saying, but she decided to keep it to herself, for now. If what she was feeling was bad, she didn't want Akhet to get upset with her, or worse, to leave. "Are ya... hungry, 'r anythin'?" She asked, suddenly, trying to change the subject toward something she understood perfectly, "Or d'ya wanna get started on th'books?"

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet noticed her look away like that, but was not sure what it meant. He had admittedly spent a good amount of energy over the last hour or so, but he was not terribly hungry just yet. "I'm fine with hitting the books," he indicated, "although... are you alright? your mind seems... occupied, sort of." he was calm, and hoping she would open whatever it was up to him (if there was even "something" at all). He was not the shallow type who would leave over one little conflict if there was one, but that was not exactly something he could tell--he would have to show that when it came up. he still softly rubbed her back to hopefully comfort her.

Minali Otoyome	"Ah ain't sure..." She admits, brushing her curls back once again, her brows knit together, "If Ah'm alright, Ah mean. Nothin' about today 'r yesterday is something Ah know how t'deal with... Yer helpin' me alot, an' Ah appreciate all've it, an' Ah don't want ya t'leave 'r anythin' - " Minali starts to ramble, her eyes actually filling with tears as she goes. This time, the tears aren't over something as simple as having her invention in her grip; she really doesn't know what's happening with her. The one thing that is clear, is that she's not upset with Akhet, but with herself; more exactly, with the strange emotions.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	seeing her tears, and knowing that they were not the same ones as her laughing ones from earlier, or even the frightened ones from him threatening to take her machine, he turned to her with a concerned expression, using the hand behind her back to gently pull her towards him in something of a light embrace. "No one's perfect," he whispered, "but that's perfectly okay. I wouldn't expect you to be perfect. I like for for who you are right now. your looks, your curls, your accent, your little quirks, and of course, all of these wonderful gadgets and contraptions and machines." Maybe he was going over-sappy on this, but hey. it was all true for the most part. "it would take much more than that for me to leave. Basically, at this point that would be like you saying you were going to throw away everything you've ever built and tear down this whole place... it would never happen." he stroked her back lovingly and reassuringly, hoping he had said the right things. he cared for her, and seeing her so emotionally vulnerable made him genuinely concerned for her, and he wanted to do whatever it took to make her happy again.

Minali Otoyome	Giving a small nod, once he had spoken, Minali wiped at her eyes with the heels of her hands, willing the tears away; they listened better than her blushes do, ceasing rather quickly. "M'sorry," She murmured, looking up at him with half a smile, "Ah'll be alright... promise." With that, she scooted over to the edge of the bed, moving to stand. Then, walking to her dresser, she grabbed the first thing her hands touched, pulling the garments out to wear for the day. "Be right back," She assured him, stepping into the washroom, gently closing the door behind her, blocking her from sight as she changed.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	He smiled. He was generally a good listener, as were all of the Tallaricos. Mother had done well in teaching them patience, especially when getting a reward. However, this was far from that. this was genuine concern and wanting to hear her concerns, to also make sure he was doing alright. "good... I'd definitely rather you be happy and content. it's better for everyone that way." he patted her back softly as she got up. chuckling, he covered his eyes right before she turned around and went into the washroom to change. He was not sure what she had grabbed, and so would be surprised at whatever she came out wearing.

Minali Otoyome	When Minali emerged from the washroom, barefoot, she was in very different clothing than the day before, or even the morning. Rather than pants, or practical worth clothes, or shorts and a blouse... she wore a light, yellow and white sundress. "Issit okay?" She asked, after a moment, her gaze meeting Akhet's own, wondering about her appearance. It wasn't something that she normally wore, since she was normally working on something, but for a day of relaxed reading - and possible gallivanting around at night - this would suit her fine... so long as he didn't laugh, or think it was stupid.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Ultimately, the only thing that Akhet might have truly ever complained about would be if she ever covered up those curls under a hat or a cloth or something. his eyes briefly darted around her form again, to check out the article in question. As much as he liked her cute knee-socks, he also did not mind her barefoot, as that was his personal preference as well. "I like it." he grinned, "bright, lively colors for a bright and lively young lady." he nodded approvingly, patting her back, also reaching up to doink one of the curls on the back of her head. "How do I look?" he chuckled. his shirt was blue, his pants a darker shade of blue. both looked very casual, and a bit large on him as if they were pajamas (although they actually were not. he had a pair of pajama pants he slept in, and usually went without a shirt altogether)., and hew as also barefoot.

Minali Otoyome	Giving a carefree laugh, at his compliment, Minali then looked him over, her gaze moving down his form and then back up. Humming, she placed her hands on her hips before nodding. "Ah like it... Suits ya. Nice an' loose, laid back, an' kinda casual." With that, she sidestepped, moving past him and to the door, "Comin'?" She actually giggled at him before disappearing down the stairs, heading for the kitchen once again. Though he may not have noticed during breakfast, that was the room that received the most natural light, during the day, and therefore was the best one, for reading.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet smirked. "yup... sounds just like me." She had described him pretty well in his opinion, and so he would fly with that. loose and carefree, laid back, and casual. Totally Akhet, that was. "I sure am." he replied, grabbing his bag and following her down the stairs, jumping the last 6 or so and landing with a light "thump" on his bare feet. Nimble, he landed on his feet without even a tremble. He hadn't noticed the other room with the natural lighting until now where it was pouring in, but clearly saw what it could be useful for once they entered it. "So..." he smiled at her. "where would be the best place for us to sit down and crack open a good book?" referring of course to one of his healing books.

Minali Otoyome	While she had giggled and clapped, when Akhet stuck the landing, she now lead him into the kitchen. "Anywhere's fine," She answered lightly, moving over to the icebox, "Y'want a drink, at least?" Minali pulled out a clay jug full of juice, pouring herself a glass. Looking back at him with a slightly raised brow and a smile, she waited for his answer, watching, also, to see where he chose to sit.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"yes please." he smiled, always up for a good drink, especially water (although juice was perfectly okay just as well). as she went and got that, he briefly surveyed the bright room, examining the furniture from where he stood. He was trying to find something particular. Locating what appeared to be the most comfortable sofa that would have ample room for at least two people, he went over and plopped himself down on it with a nice, probably purposely dramatized "Aaaaaahhhh" He then called out to her with a smile. "I'm ready when you are." he indicated as he fished out a book from his bag.

Minali Otoyome	Smiling brightly, Minali moved to join him passing him the glass of juice in her right hand, while taking a drink from the other, in her left. "So whatcha got?" She asked him, turning to the side, looking down at his pack, which likely held his books or scrolls, "Ah've been lookin' forward t'this...~" While she refrained from bouncing in her seat - because of the juice - Minali was clearly very excited and interested. She might also be glad because of her company...

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"well... I've got healing books." he said plainly, just to tease her. "which I'm about to share with a lovely, hospitable young lady with beautiful curly hair." he patted the seat next to him, inviting her to read with him. taking the juice with one hand and putting the book between them with his other, he began jumping around throughout the book as he explained the various concepts, elaborating on how the statement on page 151 tied directly in with the paragraph on page 319, and that sort of thing. any questions she had (that he knew) he gladly answered, hoping that he was getting the gears in her head turning. For one, she was adorable, and for two, she was adorable when she was thinking... or talking, or laughing, or pouting... or basically existing. Thatw as Akhet's opinion and he would not change it one bit.
