Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	Longer and uneventful as it might have been, it did not stop Isikiro from marvelling at it all when she was done. she wiggled her toes and her fingers, awestruck and excited at the pretty green and roses that now graced them. She would want to learn this art... sure she might not want to have a full makeover like this every day, but she wouldn't mind having painted nails for long periods of time. Securing her towel, she nodded at her friend. "Ah can't say Ah'm familiar with this part 'ither, but Ah guess Ah'll see." she chuckled sheepishly. Isi loved these girly things, probably especially since she had been deprived for them for 22 years of her life. Although now that she was cleaned up, it was clear that perhaps they could make use of her emerald green eyes. As long as she could wear something while she shopped, she'd be fine though. Well... and she'd HAVE to try on anything she considered buying (or rather, allowing Shi-Hao to buy her, since she knew that there was no way she could ever afford any of this. More money was probably being spent today on her than her family had ever collectively had in their lives)... and of course there'd be shoes, and lingerie and other girly things that Isi had probably only ever heard about. But... Shi-Hao would never steer her wrong.

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	Makeup might seem a bit silly to Isi, since it was going all out to make one look as though they didn't have any on at all. Still, she would look very nice when it was done, Shi-Hao assured her. In the next area, they were once again separated into different rooms, and this time Isi was left with a young, flamboyant man. "Hello dear!" He greeted Isi, gesturing for her to take a seat, "Let's get you all dolled up, doll." If this man's makeup was anything to go by (assuming that he'd done it himself), he was very good at his job. His skin was about the same tone as Isi's was, too, so that would do an even better job illustrating his skill.

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	When Isikiro thought of makeup, she thought of some of that dramatic eyeshadow or lipstick that women wore, as well as the pink stuff they put on the cheeks. She was pretty sure she had also seen a few men with eyeshadow, which, while weird... they hadn't exactly been hard on the eyes. Either way, Isi did kind of blush at the notion that she was naked except a towel, in front of a man. she wasn't sure which way the fellow swung, but she managed to stay calm and seat herself, ensuring her towel covered her breasts and her privates (even if she was showing off plenty of leg nontheless). "'ah'raht," she nodded, getting comfortable and relaxing, waiting for the makeup man to work his magic. she trusted Shi-Hao's judgment once again in this regard, and closed her eyes to relax (and in face her eyelids got any shadow or anything) deciding to surprise herself like she had done with the manicure and pedicure.

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	The entire time, the young man spoke to Isi; sometimes about the contours of her face, or the colors he was choosing, but often enough about some of the more fascinating things that these rich folk got up to. It was a little taste of what she had missed during the manicure (since there hadn't been any other people nearby). A lot of the gossip would have been more interesting stories, thankfully, rather than about who was seen with whom when they shouldn't have been, and so hopefully Isi would be laughing rather than bored. A light touch with the makeup was the best method for her face, though highlighting Isi's beautiful eyes was the key. Eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara were used in judicious amounts, along with a tiny amount of blush on her cheekbones and a slight shimmer lip gloss - that was all the young woman needed. "Your skin is gorgeous after that mineral soak," The flamboyant man told Isi with an envious sigh, "I would never ruin it with foundation, so we've gone super light in that area." When finished, he turned the young woman's chair so that she faced a mirror, asking, "What do you think, doll?" Of course, he also added that he thought she looked drop dead gorgeous, the whole way around.

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	Isikiro listened, both with curiosity and with slight amusement once she got the hang of what was being said. She did kind of feel awkward since she was mostly just smiling and nodding (people as poor as her didn't really have time to gossip since they were worrying more about where their next meal would be, and so Isi had missed this part of life completely). And yet, the stories were interesting, with Isi's facial expressions changing depending on what was being said. she actually did let out something of a chuckle on the funnier ones. her thick accent actually gave the girl a rather cute laugh. "Ah w-- thank'ee." she was still rather humble about the whole thing too as she felt the man dab this or paint that on her face. the sensation even, was something she had never felt before, but she kept her eyes closed and otherwise cooperated very well. she actually did gasp when she saw herself. Maybe it was just her slanted perception, but she looked a bit more like nobility or something now. She looked... refined; sophisticated--like a gritty piece of ore that had been melted down and refined into a beautiful metal bar. "'s beaut'ful..." she exclaimed, nearly putting her fingers to her lips. her eyes were darting all over that mirror, taking the image of her face in with awe and wonder, all over again.

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	It was around this time that Shi-Hao poked her head into the room to see if Isi was finished getting made-up. Her own cosmetics had been applied in a similar fashion - more to highlight than to cover up anything. "Oh wow...!" She gasped, alerting the two in the room to her presence, "You look beautiful!" With that, she stepped more fully into the room. Her towel had disappeared, replaced by a somewhat fancy black skirt and green top (as well as a pair of sandals). The other girl might notice that these were not the clothes she wore to the spa, but otherwise they looked nice enough.

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	"awww... thank'ee." It was Isikiro's go-to response to compliments, but repetitive as it might have been, it was sincere. She didn't exactly know what else to say, and so she hoped it was alright. She had made progress too. Usually she stammered out an "I..." ("Ah..." due to her accent on that vowel tone) first. she had not done that this time. She noticed Shi-Hao's new clothes and smiled. "y'look nahs too." she complimented her with a small smile. "Ah take it Ah've got sum' clothes t'wear too? Ah mean... Ah dun' 'xactly wanna go shoppin' in th'buff, y'know?" she blushed at her own joke. Isi made a funny. She did get up to look around though, holding her towel as to not expose her naked body to anyone who might have glanced her way. She wondered what she'd be wearing--she knew she'd be trying on all kinds of things today; but she kind of hoped for something with sleeves and pant-legs for the trip, and would address this if given the choice. 'Twas just her preference on a general basis (and admittedly, she was used to hiding her arms and legs). It wasn't like she couldn't still look nice dressed that way, mind you.

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	Nodding, Shi-Hao moved as if to lead the other young woman to another room - a changing room, this time. "I had something brought for you... I hope that's alright? Your other clothes are still here too, of course, but I thought you might want to dress up just a little, since we're going shopping next." Really, the heiress had almost had Isi's clothes sent home before them, but she didn't want to overstep her boundaries. The other set of clothing began as a summer dress, showing off a little of the back and all of the arms, but modestly covering the cleavage and falling below the knees. It wasn't the fanciest thing ever (in fact, it was about on par with Shi-Hao's current casual look), but that would come later. This was more for comfort as they browsed through the shops.

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	"it should be fahn," Isi nodded, "z'long as it ain't somethin' skimpy 'r nuttin." she didn't think Shi-Hao would do that to her, and so it was just Isikiro trying to make a funny. Even if she was cleaned up and no longer looking like she had just been eviscerated, it wasn't like Isi could just break her habit of wanting her arms and legs covered so easily. Funny enough, when presented with the clothes, Isikiro dropped her towel right then and there, giving Shi-Hao a nice view of her surprisingly well-sculpted back (and backside). she pulled on her underclothes and the dress, slipping her feet into the sandals Shi-Hao had gotten her as well. Even with how reasonably modest it was, Isi still seemed slightly off. "Ah feel so... 'sposed." she admitted, "not lahk embarrassed... jus'... lahk Ah'm missin' somethin'... on mah arms 'n m'legs. It's... a lovely dress though." she smiled, hoping she didn't come off as disappointed or ungrateful. This was probably one of the first times she had not been wearing long sleeves and pants in her life.

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	"I didn't want you to be too uncomfortable; that's why I had your clothes kept here, just in case," Shi-Hao admitted, "If you'd like, we can stick to longer sleeves for you, when we're out shopping?" Now that they were both dressed, they were waved out of the spa by all of the women at the front desk and whisked away in the same carriage as before, presumably on their way to a clothing store. That appeared to be the case, because in no time at all they had arrived at a rather large, grand boutique called 'Carousel'. This time, however, Shi-Hao did not exit the carriage right away. Instead, she looked over at her friend with a smile, "Are you ready?" It seemed that she was starting to think of them more as friends and less as partners in on the same venture.

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	If she watched Isi, Shi would notice that the darker woman would reach her hands to her biceps or shoulders, as if feeling for something, only to find that said something was not there. her scars had practically been eliminated, and so she did not look bad on that front at all. She did have slightly broad athletic shoulders and well-built arms--she had an earthbender build for sure, but also was fairly athletic. Surely she had to be if she had won so many fights in her life. "Ah maht lahk that..." she nodded, "well... at least most've 'em... she wouldn't mind trying out new things (here she was literally doing just that, even down to the clothes she was currently wearing). "jus'... maybe some longer skirts 'n sleeves so Ah 'kin ease into it, y'know?" let it not be said that Isi was picky with fashion; she just couldn't jump into showing off her limbs when she had literally worn clothing that kept them covered, her entire life. To cut a long story short though, soon they were at what had to be the boutique of choice, One again, Isi had no clue what to expect, other than that it would surely be good. "Ah'm ready." she gave her friend a smile. She certainly saw them as such now, after all.

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	It was easy enough for the young heiress to agree to those terms, "More sleeves and longer skirts; it's a deal." Her soft smile returned, as she really didn't mind the conditions - it was for Isi's comfort, after all, rather than some silly little whim of a rich girl such as herself. "Alright... let's go," Shi-Hao continued, easing herself out of the carriage and toward the boutique. It was just as large and grand on the inside as it was from the outside; it was nearly as big as the house that Isi's family lived in now. They were greeted at the door by a woman with a slightly too broad smile and very... big hair - seriously, it flipped in a way that couldn't be natural. "Welcome to Carousel!" The woman spoke a bit too loudly, as well, "Can I help you find something marvelous today?" Quickly waving the woman off, Shi-Hao moved further into the store. She wasn't headed anywhere in particular; just away from the obnoxious greeter.

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	Isi smiled. "thank'ee. They don't all hafta be lahk that... jus' most of 'em, I guess..." it also made her wonder just how many outfits, shoes and lingerie they might be getting here, but trying to wrap her mind around it gave Isi a headache, and so she'd just take it as it came. She followed Shi-Hao out of the carriage, slightly less gracefully, but landed solidly on her feet with a slight "crack" from hitting the ground. (an aftereffect of her rigid and powerful earthbending, was all it was). Isikiro was about to look around in awe and wonder before she was suddenly interrupted (startled, rather) by a particularly overenthusiastic greeter. She actually squeaked from surprise, and, had she been as aggressive as she usually was, would have easily thrown a punch. The blood, scars, and filth might have been washed off of Isi's body, but it did nothing to her physical strength. She quietly followed Shi-Hao, a bit closer than the time before, and now suddenly wondered what she had gotten into...

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	"I don't usually linger here for very long," Shi-Hao confessed in a whisper over her shoulder, as Isi trailed along behind her, "My mother gave the owner her start-up loan, though, and it pays to keep in touch with things like that..." She definitely wasn't thrilled by the notion, but who knew? Someday the owner of this store could have something that the young heiress needed, and then she'd be glad that she kept up communications. Another greeter was lurking nearby, though she didn't approach the two young women right away. Shi-Hao made a show of looking through a few things, commenting on a dress or two, before moving over to the jewelry case. "Just a few more minutes," She muttered out of the corner of her mouth, "Then I'll grab something and we'll leave, okay?" If she hated the place, she knew that it must be like torture for Isi.

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	"Ahhhh..." this was more of an expression of understanding rather than a pronoun. Ah getcha." She didn't think it was that bad... just really awkward. these people were just a step too flambouyant for the very humble coal miner, and so even in her pretty little dress she felt a bit out of place. She hoped they weren't staying here too long to shop, and so was relieved to know that this was not the place they'd be doing their girling out at. She did want to see it all, after all--awkwardness be damned. "'ighty." she nodded softly, mostly just sticking at Shi=Hao's side and following her around rather closely. She was not used to social etiquette or anything, so if she was getting too close to Shi, she wouldn't know, but it was unintentional. It was clear that she felt very out of place here and wanted to go, so as soon as her friend was ready, Isikiro would breathe a sigh of relief and happily follow her out.

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	Thankfully, the owner appeared not too long after they had moved to the jewelry case, and so the overeager vultures dispersed, leaving the obviously wealthy Shi-Hao to their boss (though some surely bemoaned the lost chance at a hefty commission). After a few pleasantries that the young heiress apparently couldn't escape, she did actually purchase a few things from the jewelry case - that the owner apparently designed herself. "Would you gift wrap them for me, please?" Shi-Hao asked with a friendly smile, "You really do have the most elegant designs - I love giving them to my clients - and that helps spread the word about your talents, as well." This was definitely the right thing to say, as everything was handled quite quickly. Accepting a bag full of wrapped packages - at least four or five of them - they were escorted to the door in style, with requests to return soon. The carriage thankfully awaited once again, and they had departed in seconds. Only then, when on their way away, did Shi-Hao sigh and massage her temples. Glancing at Isi, she smiled and reached over to pat the other girl's knee. "Sorry about that... She's really a nice woman - but her taste in employees and clothes isn't very good. Her jewelry is most definitely where her talent lies; it's the best in the city."

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	Isikiro was silent and observant, wondering what they were doing here, but at the same time, did not feel it was her place to question it. she was certain that Shi-Hao was paying for all of this, since it wasn't like Isi's entire family probably couldn't have even afforded the healing process that Isi had undergone. That was probably, in fact, why the poor girl hadn't gotten it sooner. The jewelery being purchased though was a gift? for whom? Surely Isi wouldn't need all of that (she wouldn't mind it though. she liked gems, which made sense given that she's a miner. Thankfully, she was mostly just standing aside and watching, remaining uninvolved so that no one drew attention to the well-dressed girl who was still quite the foreigner here. When they finally left though she sighed in relief. Not that it was bad; she just felt awkward and out of place, which was never a comfortable feeling for anyone. "It's fahn..." she shrugged, "Ah jus' felt really awkward 'n stuff since Ah dinn' know wut t'do... but Ah ain't mad 'r nuttin... we gonna go shop f'er clothes 'n stuff now, raht?" she put a smile on her face, admittedly a bit more excited for this than she might have admitted.

Things that, most likely, Isi would never need herself, unless she was with Shi-Hao for whatever reason (at least for now). "They usually have entire outfits made up for you to see," the heiress continued, reaching up to brush some loose hair back behind her ear, "Though, if you don't like what they've put together, you're free to choose anything else that they have." Even if Shi-Hao figured that she'd be coaching her friend on what to wear, Isi was more than welcome to express her own opinions on the outfits as well. She would be the one wearing them, after all! It only made sense.

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	It was certainly not that Isikiro was not interested in such attire--just that she had never had the time to explore it, let alone wear or afford it. Perhaps this would one day change... maybe even starting with today. "ighty." she nodded, "tha' does soun' lahk a treat." she gave her friend a smile. Of those, she could see herself going down the road of formal business attire one day. One of her biggest dreams for the future was to run a business of her own, after all. On the other hand, she might ask Shi-Hao for fashion tips, simply because she was not even sure what her body shape would qualify as, let alone what she might look good in. Surely she'd understand though. Otherwise, she seemed as ready as ever to start looking around. she'd probably be inevitably spending a lot of time in a dressing room here. she turned to her friend, just to clarify something. "Ye... ye 'kin halp me pick stuff out, raht?" she tilted her head, a few lank curls bouncing with the movement, "Ah mean... Ah dun'exactly know a whole lotta 'bout fashion 'n stuff... so Ah ain't too f'milier with wut maht look good 'n what don't, y'know?"

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	Those words actually made Shi-Hao happy, since it meant that she hadn't been overbearing or overwhelming the poor girl all day. "I'd be happy to help you choose something," She assured Isi with a smile of her own, "I just don't want to overstep my bounds, doing so. You'll be wearing the clothes, after all - so if I pick out something that you don't like, feel free to say so." Then again, the young heiress had faith in her ability to choose nice things... but nice things to one person were trash to another (Carousel was a textbook example of that exact sentiment). To Shi-Hao, it seemed that Isi was just as girly underneath as she might be, and so it should be pretty easy to find something to suit her tastes, as well as her figure and her personality.

"Ah'd letcha know if Ah didn't lahk somethin'... well, and now Ah could do that without 'comin' rude 'r hittin' ya." she tried making an awkward joke about how she used to be in the past. hopefully Shi wouldn't take it as an implication that Isi wanted to hit her or anything, because that was certainly not the case. Maybe one of those obnoxious greeters in that last store, but they had kept their distance, so they were okay. Isi was in fact as girly as Shi-Hao was underneath that exterior of hers... she just had to learn the ways, so to speak. she was following Shi around as they browsed, not really knowing what to look for herself. She might need a bit of help getting started... and she'd need to know a bit about colors, and about her body. She had broad shoulders and a solid build given her lifestyle, but if that shape had a name, Isi had no clue what it was. Not that she was disinterested... just that she had never had a reason to explore these fields until today--but she was loving it.

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	Selecting a dress, Shi-Hao held it up for Isi to see, grinning mischievously. "How about this?" She asked, obviously meaning it for the younger girl, "Every woman needs a little black dress!" It was a simple black dress, meant to be dressed up with accessories, but it had half-length sleeves and the bottom hem went down to the floor in an elegant sweep. The top hem was a wrap-around v-neck, which would be very nice for Isi's broad, strong shoulders. "This, with a cute pair of pumps, a necklace and a clutch bag? It'd be perfect!" Shi-Hao exclaimed happily, "And the bottom hem is nice and modest for you - what do you think?" The shop had a very similar dress hanging up next to the first, which had a shorter bottom hem, if the other girl would prefer the dress to end just below her knees, as well. Seems they were both popular lengths.

Isikiro Sherazi Anazalrok	A bright pair of shimmering green eyes analyzed the dress from top to bottom, looking at it with amusement and appeal. "Ah lahk it!" she smiled, definitely approving of the longer skirts. Not that she'd be inherently against shorter ones, but even the dress she had on now was more than she had ever done. "but... whudya mean ev'ry woman needs a li'l black dress?" she had never heard of this concept before, and so she wondered what it meant and where it came from. Of course, Shi-Hao would need to help with (or at least suggest) accessories, because Isi didn't have a clue about that either. She was essentially getting an epic crash course in women's fashion--and was loving it. She nodded approvingly. "Ah 'kin see that, Ah think? so do Ah getta trah it on 'r sumthin' now? 'r do we git the 'sess'ries 'n THEN trah it on?" she did want to see what she looked like all dressed up fancy, since she did feel pretty classy right now. Perhaps even, dare she say it... sexy. Sure her dress and sandals now were more just cute and practical, but her skin was soft and smooth now, her hair was silky and curly rather than matted and tangled, and she had adorable little prints on her fingers and toes, with some cute makeup to boot. Oh yes, she felt quite attractive at the moment and hoped to indulge some more in that regard.

Shi-Hao Ni Kaihua	"Because," Shi-Hao began with a grin, passing the dress to Isi so that she could hold onto it, "A little black dress has a hundred different uses, and can match anything. They're wonderful!" She, of course, had several of her own and did not need any more. Browsing her way over to the accessories laid out for the black dresses in general, the young heiress began thinking about what to match for Isi. Eventually, she picked up a few items all at once and presented them; "What do you think of these?" There was a small, thin silver belt (to be worn around the waist, for accentuation), a pair of black high heels with silver buckles, a silver chain necklace and a small clutch bag that was black silk with shiny silver clasps and shoulder straps. It may have been a little one-note, with just black and silver, but Shi-Hao was confident that it would look gorgeous with Isi's coloring (and add a little air of mystery for the young woman).

Ah'll keep that in mind." she was thinking on a solely practical level, and it was a mindset she needed to get herself out of. then again, her mind had wandered to the idea of her wearing a black dress to the mines. sure it'd hide the coal dust... but yeah. otherwise it was just silly. Of course, after being presented with the accessories, Isikiro's face lit up, as she envisioned herself wearing them. "d'they fit mah style?" she was referring to her body shape, but wasn't sure of the exact lexicon herself, and so didn't know. She hoped they did though, because she wanted to try them on if she was allowed to. Did this place have fitting rooms? "Ah hope they do... cuz they're really purdy!" she beamed, "Ah... kin Ah try 'em on? 'zthis place have a fittin' room 'r sumthin?" she was eager and excited--her inner little girl was showing for sure.
