Personality: She is optimistic and generally happy, free spirited and also a bit mischievous. although she is dangerously curious and inquisitive. If she messes something up she laughs it off like a joke and tends to clown around a lot. She is constantly trying to impress or even be noticed by many of the other air benders and monks at the temple that she grew up in. since leaving the southern air temple she has grown a lot and is more cautious albeit not quite as cautious as she should be. she is pretty neutral about other people, she views Laniel (the female air bender who practically raised her) as her mother and loves her dearly, but most other people she has met so far have been confusing to her.

Abilities: she is an airbender who loves flying and takes to the air like a bird naturally born to it. She also excels at dodging, and is quite agile and adept with acrobatics. also as a side note she enjoys and is fairly good at gardening and has her own garden. she is quite good at the Air-ball sport commonly played at most air temples and would play whenever she got the chance. (however due to many of the monks prejudices most of the other children would chose not to play when she was around)

Appearance: Kydae is around five feet tall, with short white blonde hair which is constantly swished back from flying and the front bits always falling in her face when she looks down. She has crystal blue eyes that reflect back some colors such as purple and green framed by long light colored lashes, and fair skin with the air bender arrow tattoos. she has a small scar on her left shoulder in the shape of a flower from flying debris when her brother almost brought down the temple.

History: Kydae was born in the southern air temple along with her twin brother Ithen. Most of the monks when they were born found the twins unsettling as well as the omens the happened at their birth. The monks wanted to get rid of both children and thus avoid the calamity that they foresaw happening, however one female bender stood up for them and saying that if they raised the children with kindness and taught them compassion and balance in nature than they may avoid the fate that was in their future. They grew up together learning from the monks and being taught air bending, however many of the monks still could not hide their prejudice and many others just ignored them. One who raised them, the female monk from their birth whose name was Laniel, treated them just like all the other younger students and children, showing them love and compassion and a strong sense of right. Still all that could not hide the fact of the other monks prejudice from Ithen he soon grew to be stubborn and power hungry hoping to prove himself to the monks and to maybe impress them one day. All the while Kydae was oblivious to her brothers growing temperament and grew into an optimistic and free spirited air bender, who enjoyed all aspects of nature and life in the world. When they turned 15 tragedy struck and Ithen attempted to do something beyond his power of control and ended up nearly destroying half the temple with a gale storm that had to be sent away by ten of the elders, Ithen however had used up most of his energy trying to control it and wasn’t strong enough when some of the stones and things in the area were blown into him and crushed him instantly killing him. Kydae was devastated and wanted to mourn her brother’s death but the monks angered by her brothers doings remembered their foretelling from the twins birth and sought to banish her. Laniel tried to reason with them but they were far too enraged to listen to her, and so Kydae was sent from the southern air temple with nothing but her glider, a small bag of food, and her sky bison, Jupp.

sample RP: Kydae was laying on Jupp's head ruffling her hand through the sky bison's thick white fur and thinking about lots of things that had happened to her on her journey so far. some of the people she had met had been very nice to her and some had looked at her oddly shooing her away from their farms and homes. most of the time she had been staying outside, the weather was nice enough for it and Jupp seemed to like the smell of the woods they had been traveling though. she sighed and looked around. tall trees and scrub bushes, "boy am I glad we're flying over all this aren't you girl?" she said giving Jupp a friendly scratch before sliding down to the ground and setting up a tent and fire pit. she had slept for a few hours when she heard something rustling in the woods around her camp. "Jupp? is that you?" she whispered quietly as she pulled the tent flap back to look out. she was met with a slobbery wet tongue which licked her whole face, "Jupp! knock that off, I thought you were a bandit or something" she hugged the bison and looked around the camp just in case and felt something that wasn't quite right but she couldn't be sure but it was always better to be safe than sorry. "I think we may have to leave a bit earlier than we planed girl" she told her companion. she packed up her stuff and rolled up the tent throwing it into Jupp's saddle, climbing up herself she sat down on the bison's head and they took off into the sky leaving whatever dangers awaited the unwary far below them.
