Yu Jin	When she was squeezed into a hug, Yu Jin went, "Gack!" simply because she was hugged at all. While not an annoying one, the young airbender was still a little bit of a brat - it came with the territory of being a child at all. When she was released, however, the girl laughed. "Yeah, that sounds good," She nodded, "If it's no fun, there's no reason to stay, right?"

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	The youngster's overreaction to the hug just made Xilingshi laugh and ruffle her hair. "You little goofball." She had no regrets doing it, and would likely do it again. Xi might not have been an expert at showing affection, but that was one way for her to do so. "of course not." Xilingshi responded, "so we'll make sure that we only stay in fun places, like this one." pausing for a moment, she glanced down at the young child again. "So you wanna stay here a bit longer, or should we get cleaned up?" in reference to the sand that was all over both of them, particular their feet and legs.

Yu Jin	"Cleaned up," Came the quick answer, "I'm hungry again, now." Yu Jin brushed at her legs, trying to get the sand to come off, so that she wouldn't feel the rough grainy texture any longer. "Is there a fountain or something, nearby?" The young airbender had no problem with splashing around in a public fountain to clean herself off. Grabbing her things, she held them carefully, as to not get her clothes covered in sand, as well - that would be a pain in the butt.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	"well... there's still some of those pies left at my place." she reminded here. Indeed they had only eaten two slices each, and there had been two pies, so there was still plenty left for a round two if the youngster was interested. "fountains... hmm... most big parks tend to have them... though are we really going to clean off in a public fountain in our underwear?" she gathered her things, but she too was wet and covered in sand, which was not a good combination for putting clothes back on. She wasn't exactly afraid, although she did think that it might be awkward--at least for her, a grown woman and powerful military leader, to do such.

Yu Jin	"Where else can we go?" Yu Jin asked, tilting her head to the side; she saw no problem with it, after all. The young airbender was covered in sand, just about from shoulders to toes, and was ready to get the gritty texture off of her skin. "Is there a bath house?" She recalled what they had used, at the Air Temple. Once they had taken care of cleaning up, she would have no problem with going back to eat more pie.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	Pausing to think about it for a moment, Xilingshi had an epiphany. "I don't think they do..." she admitted, having not seen something like that here. Maybe she hadn't looked hard enough though. "Lead on." she chuckled sheepishly, as she didn't really know where any good fountains were either. Besides, this way the youngster could also get a good look around the island as they searched for a place to cool off, and thus accomplish two things at once. That was how Xilingshi thought anyways. She was all about efficiency. "and we'll still get more pie afterwards of course." she reminded her. Yes, she thought pie sounded pretty good too.

Yu Jin	"There was a fountain near the park!" Yu Jin recalls, heading for the treeline, her things in hand, "We can splash around in there~!" Once her toes hit the grass, the young airbender gave a twirl, shaking some more of the sand away. Perhaps she didn't realize that Xilingshi would be walking around in her underwear, but the small girl saw nothing at all wrong with wandering over to the public fountain, to wash up; life was simpler when you were younger. "What kind of fruit did you use in the pies?" She asks, smiling, "They're really good!"

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	"Right!" Xilingshi nodded, still not entirely sure, but she figured that if she, a hardened warrior who was not even fazed at an onslaught of hundreds of zeppelins and battleships, could manage to not be afraid of splashing around in her skivvies. They were red, and looked very Fire Nation in their design. It could almost serve as some type of symbolism, given that they were covered up by her orange Air nomad clothes on most occasions. Truth of the matter was that Xilingshi was actually a Fire Nation native, and despite that that country had tried to destroy her people twice now, Xilingshi still had cultural ties to the Fire Nation, and actually held a certain fondness of it, even if she did not like its rulers. She was following the (currently) much bolder Yu Jin back to the fountain, happy for a little change of subject as well. "for one of them, I used apples, and the other had cherries." she explained. "which one did you like better, or did you like them both?"

Yu Jin	"I liked all the things!" The young airbender threw her hands up, as if cheering, "I want to eat them all, forever!" Yu Jin was walking with a slight bounce in her step, completely unaware that there were eyes on both of the airbenders walking through the park in their underwear. "Pies are the best!" She reiterated, completely willing to eat another few pieces.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	Xilingshi chuckled, ruffling the youngster's hair again. "you goofball." she said appreciatively, "I'll remember to make more pies when we go on our adventure across the world then, right?" the older woman tried to ignore the fact that she knew people were staring at them. it was especially hard for Xilingshi given her dark red underclothes; those bright blue tattoos going all around her arms and thighs certainly didn't help keep her subtle much either. chuckling again, she couldn't help but nod in agreement. "aye. pies are amazing." luckily for her, they had just reached the fountain as well. deciding to see what Yu Jin would do first, Xilingshi waited to see how the younger girl would react.

Yu Jin	As soon as they neared the fountain, Yu Jin took off at a sprint, jumped into the air, and splashed her way into the large fountain. Thankfully, her airbending kept her from slamming into the tile at the bottom. When she resurfaced, the young girl brushed her hair back (though a lot was still in her face), and called out for Xilingshi. "C'mon! The water's nice!" It was also washing the sand off of her skin, which was the point.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	Originally, Xilingshi was a bit skeptical. Here she was, a 34-year-old war hero with more marks and discipline than some generals twice her age, and she was about to splish-splash in a public fountain wearing nothing but her vivid red skivvies. Never mind that she had nearly been killed hundreds of times during the war and that her life had been on the line countless times. No, that stuff wasn't scary at all. This... this wasn't scary. Just a bit of awkward, which Xi was not used to handling. Still... Yu Jin made a fairly convincing argument, and so a moment later, Xilingshi had joined her, letting her body (and face for a moment) be submerged under the water. admittedly, it felt great, and was washing the sand off of her. She chuckled, deciding to try and forget about where they were and what they were (not) wearing. she ruffled Yu Jin's hair. "you little goofball." she teased playfully. Yes, Xi liked the youngster almost like a little sister that she had never had. That was how she saw their relationship anyways.

Yu Jin	As her hair was ruffled, Yu Jin clenched her eyes shut, the wet locks falling all into her face and tangling. Her face half submerged when Xilingshi stopped, the young airbender pouted, but then grinned. Taking a mouthful of water, she spit it out at the older woman before diving under. The game was on, once again! (Though Yu Jin didn't seem to realize that spitting water out at someone was kinda gross...) It was mostly a game of keep-away, for the younger of the two. She was smaller, certainly, and while that gave her some advantages, the older, more hardened warrior airbender could catch her fairly easily, if she really put her mind to it.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	it made Xilingshi laugh, seeing the youngster's little expressions and antics. She was quite the little character--Xi liked that in people. she did sort of squeal in surprise when Yu Jin spit water at her, because she had not expected anyone to do that (and certainly wouldn't, herself). "you little..." she laughed, humoring her by joining the game. most of the sand was off her body at this point, having sunk to the bottom of the large fountain. Xi was actually quite fast even in the water, being familiar with beaches and the ocean and such given where she had lived and grown up. She watched the youngester move under the water, and darted this way or that, ready to playfully strike at her once she resurfaced with some splashing of her own (with ehr hands, of course).

Yu Jin	Squealing with laughter, and almost certainly drawing attention to them both in the fountain, Yu Jin surfaced and began to splash back, trying to hold her own against the older woman. There was nothing she could do, of course, being smaller, and soon she had risen up out of the fountain, perching on the side, ready to make an escape if need be. "I'll getcha!" She laughed, splashing Xilingshi with as much water as she possibly could, trying to win, somehow.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	Xi had just surrendered to the fact that the two scantily-clad airbenders were bound to draw attention to themselves, the moment Yu Jin had splashed her and she had squealed. Xilingshi splashed her when she surfaced, joining in the full-blown splashfight, although holding back a little as to not overwhelm the youngster. "and I'll getcha back!" she laughed, splashing in retaliation. Frankly, if anyone skeptically asked what she was doing, she'd be honest. She was playing. She had fought in two wars already, and saved many people (and had had a few save her even). She could unwind and have a little fun every now and again.

Yu Jin	With the aid of her airbending powers, Yu Jin jumped up and flipped over backward, leaving the fountain and the water behind. When her hair whipped back around, it gave a final splash to Xilingshi before she landed on the soft grass. "I win~!" She called spinning away to grab her things, now hopefully out of range of retaliation. Should anyone ask, the girl would simply place her hands on her hips and ask, rather snottily, "No one asked you, anyway; mind your own business." Despite her ability to bend air, and her training, she was still a child, and was allowed to act like one.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	Xilingshi chuckled, knowing that there was really no arguing with a child, and so she conceded defeat. if it was a meaningful battle or fight of any kind, Xi wouldn't surrender till she was killed. but a little splash fight was hardly even remotely that extreme. So, she simply climbed out of the fountain as well with a certain light-footed grace, and nodded at the youngster. "now we need to dry off." she reminded her because putting on dry clothes while your body was wet did not ever feel good. "and I think I've got an idea... you wanna stand up straight and close your eyes... and I'll blow you dry. then you can do it to me if you want." or not, depending on how much she trusted her skills. if she was knocked off her feet, she'd shrug it off and laugh, since she had taken far worse hits in war. but, airbending had its practical uses, such as here and now.

Yu Jin	With a nod, Yu Jin moved to stand completely straight and still, her eyes closed, waiting for her blow dry. Unless Xilingshi did it intentionally, the young girl would manage to stay upright, since she was expecting it and had thus braced herself against the gusts of wind. When it was her turn to dry the older airbender off, Yu Jin wouldn't try to knock her over either, but she wouldn't quite get her as dry as she herself now was. Unless she wanted to wait for ten more minutes, anyway, but the worst of the dampness was gone.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	Xilingshi had enough control as to blow most of the water away from Yu Jin's body, but not so that it would knock her over or blast her eyelids open or anything. with a "there we go!" after she had gotten her front and back, Xi waited her turn next. She had not expected the youngster to dry the larger woman off with the same precision, because of the two, one was barely beginning while the other had mastered the art of airbending. It wasn't even a judgment either; simply a truth. shaking her head as if to fling water off, she smiled. a little dampness might just feel good more than anything. "you did well." she smiled, noting that the job was thorough, despite its lack of 'strength' that Xili's blow-dry had had. Deciding that if she could get away with splashing around in a fountain in her skivvies, she would let Yu Jin decide if getting dressed was important or not on their little walk back to Xilingshi's place. So instead, she posed a different question. "you ready to help me finish off that pie back at my place?" A genuine offer, of course.

Yu Jin	"Yes!" The young girl answered in a cheer, throwing her hands up in the air. Grabbing for her clothes, Yu Jin pulled on the undermost layer, ending up in what appeared to be string-tied long shorts and a halter top tunic. They were orange and yellow, of course, as most traditional airbender clothing was. Once she was clothed, the younger airbender gathered up the rest of her things yet again, ready to follow Xilingshi. "All set!" She iterated, giving a salute, which she was told was a sailor thing.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	while Yu Jin got dressed, Xi pulled her pants and shirt back on, familiar with doing so quickly. she strapped her gloves on as they walked; the only thing missing from her regular attire at this point being her hair, which she usually had up, but was down at the moment. Xilingshi snapped back a similar salute, a bit surprised that the youngster knew it, but at the same time, it also made her smile. maybe it was the military girl in her. She took Yu Jin's hand with a smile, and walked them back to her place with little other event. "go ahead and make yourself at home," she offered once again once they were both inside, mostly just wanting her to sit down (preferably at the table). "Let me go get the pies."

Yu Jin	Taking "make yourself comfortable" as an invitation - which it technically was - Yu Jin basically dropped all of her things unceremoniously right there in the front entrance. She would deal with it later, or whatever; typical kid. There was nothing in her bag that she needed just now, anyway. Moving into the house, she sat at the table, swinging her feet back and forth. She waited mostly patiently for the pie to be cut and served.

Xilingshi Nailah Zoraki	Xilingshi was not a neat-freak by any means. she wasn't disgusting at all either, but she was used to being covered with mud and blood (both her own and otherwise) on the battlefield, so a few extra things at her door wouldn't bother her a single bit. she cut the rest of the pie, bringing it over and serving a couple of slices on plates, also bringing over a pitcher of water, since the pies were rather rich. she didn't worry much about which flavor Yu Jin wanted, because she was going to offer seconds (or thirds, or however many Yu Jin wanted, to be honest). the pies were flavorful, although a lot of the flavor came from the rich fruit Xili had used. "dig in." she smiled, hoping that Yu Jin wouldn't take it literally.

Yu Jin	Though she didn't take it quite as literally as Xilingshi would fear, the young girl did pretty much attack the slice of pie with her fork, polishing it off in mere moments. "Swimmin' makes me hungry," She offered in explanation, once she had swallowed the last bite. Rather than instantly ask for seconds, she sat back in her seat, poking the utensil at the crumbs on her plate. "So... you don't mind going with me?" She asked, curiously, "Don't you have things you need to do, or something? Adult things?" What those things were, she had no idea, but adults always seemed to be 'busy'.
